K. N. T. Sastry is a National Award winning Telugu film director. He has directed films such as Thilaadanam and Kamli. Sastry is an experienced Indian film critic. with more than thirty years of experience, Sastry always wanted to make films which have a striking a balance between Art and Parallel Cinema. It materialized with films like, Thilaadanam, Kamli, Surabhi and the upcoming Kannada film, Snehe Geethe. He was a jury member for many international film festivals.
