Javed Khan Amrohi is an Indian film and television actor who has acted in various Films counting up to 150 Hindi films.
He is best known for his role in Academy Award-nominated Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India (2001), Andaz Apna Apna (1994) and more recently Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chak De! India (2007).He has also worked in TV series like Mirza Ghalib directed by Gulzar and as Karim barber Nukkad directed by Saeed Akhtar Mirza in the 1980s.
He is also an Acting faculty at ZIMA, Zee Institute of Media Arts in Mumbai of Zee TV.

The film begins with Manish Gupta (Aftab Shivdasani) in a press conference of his best-selling book " Life Mein Kabhie Kabhiee". It then goes into a flashback where the 5 friends (including himself)- Rajeev Arora (Dino Morea), Jai Gokhale (Sameer Dattani), Ishita Sharma (Anjori Alagh)and Monica Seth (Nauheed Cyrusi) are all fresh out of college. They are caught drunk and are in a lock-up. In the meantime they make a bet to determine who will find the most fulfillment in life. The winner will be the person who has found the most happiness in life within 5 years' time.

Humiliés par cette défaite, les supporters et les médias accusent le joueur de corruption, ce qui ruine sa carrière. Sept ans plus tard, Kabir Khan se voit proposer d'entraîner l'équipe nationale féminine indienne pour le championnat du monde. Shwetambari Nath (Urmila Matondkar) mène une vie aisée dans la cité sainte de Banaras en Inde avec sa mère, Gayetri (Dimple Kapadia) et son père, Mahendra (Raj Babbar). Elle est étudiante à l’université et est maintenant en âge de se marier. Satpal Shukla (Arif Zakaria), inspecteur de police, souhaite l’épouser. Mais Shwetambari tombe amoureuse de Soham (Ashmit Patel), orphelin d’une caste inférieure à la sienne qui vit avec une femme nommée Dadi (Meenal Patel), femme de ménage. Cette différence sociale les empêche de se réunir. Cependant, Shwetambari continue de fréquenter Soham, prétextant apprendre la musique. Elle a confiance en lui qui s’initie à la méditation avec son gourou Babaji (Naseeruddin Shah) et qui est convaincu qu’il n’y a pas de mal à s’aimer même si l’on n’appartient pas à la même caste. Shwetambari présente Soham à ses parents qui ne le trouvent pas du tout à leur goût. Lorsque Shwetambari refuse d’épouser qui que ce soit d’autre, ses parents reviennent sur leur decision et approuvent ses fiançailles avec Soham, particulièrement après avoir appris qu’il n’était pas d’une caste inférieure mais d’une caste inconnue et qu’il n’avait pas de lien filial avec Dadi. Peu de temps avant le mariage, la vie de Shwetambari plonge dans la tourmente lorsque Satpal lui apprend que Soham a été assassiné. Dans son chagrin, elle devient solitaire et soucieuse. Son père demande à un ami d’enfance, Dr. Gopal Bhattacharya (Akash Khurana), psychiatre de Boston aux États-Unis, de la soigner. Le docteur dit qu’il est possible que Shwetambari soit malade car elle parle comme si Soham était encore en vie et prétend rencontrer et parler à un saint homme du nom de Babaji qui est décédé depuis des centaines d’années. Mais Shwetambari sait qui sont les responsables de la mort de Soham et elle decide de quitter Banaras avec ce secret pour aller à l'Ile Maurice où elle gagne une solide reputation en tant que guérisseuse spirituelle. Dix-sept ans plus tard, son père est mourant et elle hésite entre retourner à Banaras pour le voir ou rester loin de tous les problèmes passés. Mais elle décide finalement de retourner dans sa chère cité et de lever le voile sur le meurtre de Soham.

This is a comedy about three physically impaired men: Tom (deaf), Deepak/Dick (blind) and Harry (mute). They live together as paying guests, and their life takes an endearing turn when a beautiful girl Celina comes to live in the bungalow opposite their house. The three men get a job as Kothari hires them to work for him. Soon the three men come across Kothari's daughters: Madhuri (Riya Sen), Rekha (Aarti Chhabria) and Dimple (Sophie Choudry). It is not long before they are tempted by them. Unfortunately for them Lucky Bhai (Sanjay Dutt) is out to make their life hell and expose them to their unassuming wives. The three men sign a contract as the three beauties have been deceived and that their wives are disappointed at them. Once again the three friends commit suicide by standing on top of a ladder but are left hanging when Kothari tries to cut the ladder with a chainsaw. their wives come but are left hanging to as Lucky Bhai saves them but Raj falls into a lump of dust and junk, Aryan falls through wires and electricity and Kothari and Veer falls into a dog van with a broken arm along with Kothari who falls onto a cement packet. Injured, Veer,Raj and Aryan apoligize to Lucky Bhai as he feels awkward about saving people but has trust in them.

The film opens with Munna Bhai (Sanjay Dutt), a dreaded Mumbai-streeted goon, on the chase to Pillai (Ashish Vidyarthi). Munna Bhai catches him, and Pillai tries to escape into Komal's (Aishwarya Rai) dancing class. Komal stops Munna from beating him up and makes him say sorry to Pillai. Munna straight-away falls in love with her without realizing that he is in love. Noticing that Munna Bhai seems to be ill, his sidekick takes him to Dr. Rastogi (Amitabh Bachchan), whose diagnosis is that Munna Bhai is suffering from the "love virus" which can only be cured with love. He advises Munna Bhai to try to woo the girl with whom he is smitten. What Dr. Rastogi and Munna Bhai do not realize is that this girl is none other than the doctor's younger sister. Rastogi takes Komal abroad to get her married, unaware she is in love with Raja (Ajay Devgan). Raja, in disguise fools Rastogi, and follows them abroad. Munna Bhai is then on gun-point by Pillai, and Raja saves him. Unaware of knowing they both love the same girl, Rastogi makes a torn between them, which ends up getting Raja beat up. Munna Bhai gets his gun out, but before Rastogi realizes what he has done, Komal jumps in to save Raja and is shot. Munna Bhai realizing his mistake, surrenders, and gives up the crime world, while Dr. Rastogi also realizes his mistake and lets Komal marry Raja.
