Une légende raconte qu'à la nuit tombée, une prestigieuse école de Tokyo devient le royaume de fantômes et autres créatures invraisemblables, les "Midnighters". Lors d'une journée portes ouvertes, trois petites chipies qui n'ont peur de rien pénètrent dans l'ancienne salle des sciences condamnée pour travaux et y rencontrent Monsieur Kunstlijk, l'écorché d'anatomie de l'école, et son ami Goth le squelette. Pas effrayées pour deux sous, elles vont relooker M. Kunstlijk façon Picasso pendant son "sommeil". Après avoir vu le résultat le soir même, l'écorché les invite à l'école pour leur faire passer une nuit de terreur et envoie trois lapins frappadingues armés jusqu'aux dents pour les ramener! Et voilà les trois gamines entraînées dans une série d'aventures improbables, mais la bataille ne fait que commencer et n'est pas le plus monstrueux celui que l'on croit.

Alors que Kiyomaro n'a qu'en tête de partir en voyage avec ses camarades de classes, il abandonne Gash derrière lui après avoir en partie cassé son Vulcan 300. En retard pour l'heure prévue, il se retrouve à courir après son bus jusqu'à qu'un véritable Vulcan 300 géant le kidnappe. Peu de temps après, Gash rencontre et se lie d'amitié avec le même Vulcain qui a kidnappé Kiyomaro, plus tard nommé : Vulcan 300 Generation 4. De son côté, Kyomaro se réveille face à un scientifique du nom de M2, qui souhait le convaincre de devenir son partenaire. Gash et ses compagnons partiront alors avec Vulcan 300 Generation 4 pour stopper les plans de M2 et sauver Kiyomaro.

In Gaea’s atmosphere the Jointrons and the Seacons battle each other but both factions are interrupted by the arrival of a large space ship which rams into them and sends them all flying into space before crash landing on the planet, and the Maximals and Predacons are immediately alerted. On the Galvaburg II, Gigastorm recommends destroying the ship but Galvatron is interested and believes it may hold good fortune for the Predacons. On the Yukikaze Lio Convoy orders a unit sent to investigate the ship but Lio Junior, Lio Convoy’s son, wishes to go but the other Maximals shoot him down, but Tasmania Kid stands up for him and asks if both can go and Lio Convoy approves and has Stanton and Skywarp accompany also. The 4 Maximals arrive at the ship and discover a “teleport gate”, an ancient device capable of opening a doorway into the past and transporting any living creature into the present, Transformers included but it requires a control unit to function. When Lio Junior finds it the Predacon Combaticons Hellscream, Dirgegun, Thrustor and Max-B swoop in and steals it but Lio Junior dives off after it alone and the Predacons overpower and nearly kill him, but before Hellscream can fire a finishing blow Kid takes the hit as the other Maximals arrive and scare off the Predacons and secure the control unit.

The plot revolves around a summer vacation of Nobita and his friends under the waters of the Pacific Ocean. Gian and Suneo take Doraemon's underwater vehicle and travel through the Atlantic Ocean, trying to find a treasure ship. Along the way, they discover that the environment gun that Doraemon used to protect them is running out of energy leaving them vulnerable to the sea. Fortunately, they are rescued by some marine creatures. Doraemon and his friends are later captured by these creatures, revealed to be inhabinats of the underwater kingdom of Mu. It is revealed that another undersea kingdom, Atlantis, now controlled by robots, was about to destroy the Earth with nuclear weapons after mistaking a volcano eruption for an invasion. With the help of a young boy from Mu, Nobita and his friends attempt to stop the robots, but are all captured. However, when things are at their grimmest, Doraemon's robotic underwater vehicle sacrifices itself to destroy the computer that controlled all the robots and nuclear weapons. After returning to Mu, Doraemon and his friends are hailed as heroes before returning home.
