Gundu Hanumantha Rao is a Telugu actor. Some of the famous movies in which he appeared are Pellaniki Premalekha Priyuraliki Subhalekha in 1992, Rajendradu Gajendradu, Mayaloodu, Jodi No.1, Nenu Seetamahalakshmi, Kedi No.1, Apparao Driving School, Kalyanam, Original, Neramu Siksha, High School, Pappu, Kothoka Vintha, NRI, Colors, Panchamukhi, Sri Sai Sankalpam, Mano Balam and the TV serial Amrutham. He first appeared in Jandhyala's film Aha Naa Pellanta in 1987 and gained popularity in comedian roles in SV Krishna Reddy's films. He got 3 TV Nandi Awards from Andhra Pradesh Government. One of them is for the famous 'Amrutham' serial. He was a famous stage drama artiste before entering into cinema.

Adi Shankara (Kaushik Babu) is born at Kaladi of Kerala state to a Brahmin family. Soon Adi Shankara is born Agni Deva (Tanikella Bharani) says to Rudraksha Rushi (Mohan Babu) that he has only 8 years of life. So Rudraksha Rushi gives 24 years of life to Shankara from his span, at a cycle of every 8 years whenever Shakara's life is in trouble. After his father's death Shankara shows his remarkable power in acquiring mastery over four Vedas at the age of eight. When he is caught by a crocodile in Purna River, he seeks the permission of his mother to become Sanyasi and then only the crocodile leaves him. Reluctantly, his mother accepts his proposal and then the crocodile disappears. In search of a guru, he leaves for North India. Then he finds his guru, Govinda Bhagavatpada (Srihari). The guru teaches him 'Jala Stambhana', 'Agnisthambana','Vaayusthambana' and 'Parakaya Pravesha' (leaving one's own soul and entering others) etc. skills. Soon, Shankara decides to preach his Advaita Vedanta philosophy to the people who are quarreling among themselves in the name of castes and religions. Shankara teaches a lesson to one such person, Kapalikudu (Suman), who is responsible for the quarrels among the people. In another sequence, a Chandala (Nagarjuna Akkineni) proves to Shankara that all the people are equal before god. During his philosophical tour, Shankara gets a chance to debate with Mandana Misra (Sai Kumar). While Misra I about to give up, his wife Ubhaya Bharathi (Kamalinee Mukherjee) challenges Shankara by asking some question on sex and related questions. As he being a Sanyasi, he can't answer her questions. He then asks for a recess of 15 days. He later, do parakaya Pravesha and enters the dead body of a king (Mynampati Sreerama Chandra) then he makes love with the king's wives (Kamna Jethmalani) and learns and gets the answers for the questions posed by Udaya Bharathi. Although being a sage, he performs the rituals of his mother. This factor irks the elders of his religion. However, they repent for their act later. Finally, having occupied 'Sarvagnapeetha' of Kashmir, he gets salvation and disappears in Lord Shiva (Chiranjeevi).

Subrahmanyam (Allari Naresh) is an intelligent, hardworking software engineer. He lives with his uncle (Ahuti Prasad), keeps the poster of Bill Gates in his room, spends most of his time with his girlfriend Madhu (Anita Hassanandani), and Busy Balraj (Brahmanandam). After getting drunk heavily one night, he wakes up with a girl Sanjana (Ritu Barmecha). Neither he nor does the girl remember how they got together, but they both start to believe that they had sex. It isn't before too long that the girl's goon brothers (Srihari, Subbaraju, Samrat), warn him of dire consequences if he doesn't get married to their innocent sister. No matter how hard he tries to escape the marriage, it seems he can't evade the brothers eyes. Just when he has given up all hope and agrees to the forced marriage, he stumbles upon a secret that turns the tables on the brothers. In spite of having the upper hand over the brothers, poor Subbu still finds himself in a drama of love and backbiting created by them. Who wins at last forms the rest of the story.

Gowri Shankar (Jagapathi Babu) is a circle inspector of Punjagutta and is known as a heavy corrupt police officer. Rangarao (Jeeva) is his assistant and his daughter Sindhu (Vimala Raman) is an aerobics, teacher. Once, two sons of a big industrialist (Prasad Babu) kill two girls for not accepting their love by pouring acid on them. Soon, the two get killed by some unidentified person in the same fashion. The industrialist uses his political influence and gets the case investigated by the CB-CID. The police commissioner (Chalapathi Rao) calls Gowri and tells him to hand over all the evidence to the CB-CID officer (Murali Sharma). Even as the CID officer is investigating, another two persons get murdered in the same fashion. The CID officer makes an in-depth study into the case and finally comes to the conclusion that it is Gowri, who is behind these murders. At this juncture, Gowri leaves for Mumbai and kills some gangsters who were kidnapping and selling young girls and exporting them to other countries. After he kills all the gangsters, the Mumbai police arrest him and keeps him in a jail, where an international terrorist Kasab from Pakistan was placed. The CBI officer gets a doubt and warns the jailer that Gowri intentionally surrendered to the police as he wanted to kill Kasab. What happens next should be seen on-screen.

Chakradhar (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is a famous movie actor though his mother (Jayasudha) doesn’t approve of his celebrity status. Instead, she yearns to see her son as a Major in the Army, true to the promise she has given to Bobbili Puli (N. T. Rama Rao). As Chakradhar dons various roles, an army Colonel Jeetendra (Murali Mohan) tells him that he has a story in which he wants Chakradhar to act. The Colonel narrates him a story of an army major – Major Jaya Simha (again Balakrishna). However, there is a catch. Major Jaya Simha is not a fictional character, but a real time army man who looks ditto like Chakradhar, and valiantly arrested a dreaded terrorist – Abdul Ghani. The tragedy is Jaya Simha is now in a vegetable state (on ventilation), thanks to a conspiracy plotted by politicians, few army men and terrorists themselves. Colonel Jeetendra asks Chakradhar to act like Major to ensure that the nation’s security plans are not compromised. How Chakradhar attacks the terrorists and how he brings back the honor of the Major forms the rest of the story.

The first scene of the film shows Arya (Allu Arjun) being carried into an operation theatre. His friend Ajay (Navdeep) narrates how Arya changed his life. In their childhood, Arya stays in an orphanage where he has no friends or family. By force, he befriends Ajay who also is in that orphanage. One day, Ajay is adopted by a rich family and leaves the orphanage behind him. As time passes, he becomes a big shot business tycoon and has his own software company, but Arya becomes a drunkard and does anything for Ajay. Ajay feels ashamed to say that Arya is his friend and avoids him. But Arya convinces him that he would be a good boy if he be given a job in Ajay's company. Die hard friend Arya just wanted to stay close to Ajay. But Ajay has one condition that if Arya is proven as a "bad boy" in the office, he has to leave the company. Thus, Arya converts himself into a " Mr. Perfect" without any defect and joins the company. Everyone in the company are fond of Arya, especially Shanti (Shraddha Das) who is madly in love with him. One day Geeta (Kajal Aggarwal) joins the company and Ajay and Arya both immediately fall in love with her. Arya is now Geeta's Team Lead. In a lift one day, while Geeta converses with Arya, suddenly he kisses her. In many other instances also, Arya keeps confessing his love to Geetha without anyone knowing about it. Ajay now wants to get rid of Arya. So, he crashes his own (Ajay's) car and weaves a story that Arya has crashed him. He did so, so that everyone would accuse Arya and he would be fired. At this juncture, Geeta comes to know that Ajay too loves her.
