Gopika (born 26 August 1984 as Girly Anto) is an Indian film actress, who has predominantly starred in Malayalam films. Starting her career as a model, she ventured into acting with the film Pranayamanithooval (2003). She went on to appear in over 35 films, working in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industries as well.

Biographie
On 17 July 2008, Gopika married Ajilesh Chacko, a doctor working in Northern Ireland. She returned to the cinema industry after marriage, acting in Swantham Lekhakan and says that she will act in more films if she gets good opportunities and likes the script. She says that her husband doesn't mind her acting and that she is getting a lot of support from him and her family.They have a daughter Amy and a son Aiden. Gopika made a comeback to the Malayalam cinema in Bharya Athra Pora with Jayaram, directed by Akku Akbar. She now lives in Brisbane, Australia.Le plus souvent avec

Annan Thambi is the story of twin brothers, Appu and Achu (both played by Mammootty). Appu is a talkative conman who always finds himself in trouble. While Achu, a mute, is nicer than his brother, he draws a dagger on Appu due to misunderstandings created by the villain Govindan (Siddique), who is masquerading as his friend. Their father Ravunni (Janardhanan), a ballet artist, separates them due to sibling rivalry, and Appu is sent to live with relatives in Pollachi.

Small time criminal, Mahi (Mammootty) gets released from prison early. He has a reputation of beating up his rivals in the darkness. Mahi wants to help fellow inmate Balan's (Manoj K. Jayan) whose brother Satheesh (Manikuttan) is in need of money for a life saving operation. Alibhai tells the story of Anwar Ali (Mohanlal) known as Alibhai a King "Dadha" of Palayam market, Kozhikode. He is the unquestionable hero in that area and savior of the poor and downtrodden. The movie opens with the flashback sequences which establish young Ali, a member of a barami family famous for making Urus, who leaves his home in his childhood when his own father Ahmed Sahib (Innocent) mistakes him for an unexpected thief and beats him black and blue in front of people. Ali's friends Sundaran Thampi (Siddique), tells the mob he saw the theft which was actually done by himself for avenging his fathers rivalry with Ahmad Sahib. Ali knowing he was cheated by his friend grab the butcher sword and chops off his hand and flees from his home to the Palayam market. He never backs out from a fight where he grows up as Alibhai, an undisputed leader of the proletarian class, one who stands up to speak for them and even to clench his fists and fight for them and their rights. The son grows up to be a good-hearted toughie. There are many whose lives revolve around Alibhai. There is Kunjikannan, known popularly as Market Kunji, who is Alibhai's mentor and sort of guardian. There are a bunch of friends and well-wishers who form his gang, including Hameed, Salim Babu, Ramu, Podipaatti Kunjaattu, Sameer Das, Vijayan, Dasappan and a little boy Ganapathy. There is the flower girl Chenthamara who loves him deeply, and there is young Kingini, who is brought up by Alibhai just as a father brings up his daughter. Then comes another girl Ganga, who is given refuge by Alibhai under some special circumstances. He also looks after Abraham, who earlier used to rule over the Palayam market as a goonda, and who was defeated in a fight by Alibhai, following which he was so badly injured that he has been bedridden ever since. All these and many others constitute the near and dear ones of Alibhai. Once in a while Alibhai goes to his own house to meet his mother and to secretly leave behind a gift for his father, whom he loves dearly. But all this is destined to change when Sundaran, who was actually the one who had plotted against Ali in his childhood resurfaces after a long time and with a remorseful heart, begs of Ali to forgive him and to return home. At almost the same time someone else appears - Danny Abraham, the son of Abraham, who has certain motives of his own. From here Alibhai's life is destined to change dramatically. They wanted to drive out Alibhai from the market and build a shopping mall with the help of local politicians. They are hand in glove with the city corporation and the state administration and are having the aid of big investors from foreign countries. They are into anything, to settle their old scores and change the Kozhikode city into an international tourist centre which provides fun, wine and women. How Alibhai resists their attempts to save the market and the city. At one stage, they planted a bomb and killed many of his friends and neighbours. Ali bhai kills every one behind it single-handedly and become the godfather of that area.

The story revolves around Puli (Sundar C) who is a local rowdy and the son of a math teacher (Prakash Raj). Prakash Raj hates his son for being a rowdy and for not being proficient in Mathematics. As part of a flashback it is shown that young Puli was very good in Physics but being a Math teacher his father wanted him to excel in Math which he was unable to do so. As a result of repeated physical and mental abuse the young boy takes up the wrong route to grow up. In the mean time, rival gangs and police try to kill Puli but is accidentally saved by his half-sister, a daughter from an affair that Prakash Raj had.

Each and every city and town in Kerala are facing a severe problem because of tons of waste disposals. In this film, the main focus is on Cochin Corporation which is facing a similar crisis on waste management. Lalgudy Nanappan has taken the quotation for waste removal, but he hasn't found any suitable place to dispose the waste. The Mayor of the city, Prof. Sreelatha Varma, a politician with ethics doesn't sanction Nanappan's bills and all the works associated comes to a stand still. At the same time mayor cannot answer to the questions raised by the opposition members. Nanappan has good support from many members inside the Corporation. Major Mahadevan (Mohanlal) is an officer deputed to the National Security Guards (NSG). He has been assigned to counter-terrorism duties in Kashmir and commands an elite group of NSG commandos. He calls back his buddy Havildar Jaikumar (Jiiva) from his honeymoon because he has information about major activities of the militants; he feels Jaikumar is needed for the team. The commandos raid a mosque in civilian dress and seize a big collection of arms and explosives. Later, during an operation focused on some cottages near the Dal Lake, a commando in the team is killed and an outraged Jaikumar shoots down a captured terrorist who challenges the commandos. A human rights activist (Shwetha Menon) learns about this and threatens to file a complaint with the government. She later understands the situation and the sincerity of the commandos and decides not to proceed with the complaint.

A 10-year-old orphan raises his hand against a police officer who commits an act of injustice. Impressed, Sekharan (Murali), the godfather-like gang leader who cares for the poor, gives him shelter. Sekharan is able to foil the plans of the Kottoorans with the help of the Chief Minister (Rajan P. Dev). Thus begins the feud between the Kottoorans and Sekharan. The real brain behind the Kottoorans and the person who remained in the background now comes out into the open.
