George Englund (né le 22 juin 1926 et mort le 14 septembre 2017) est un monteur, réalisateur, producteur et acteur américain. Il a été marié à l'actrice Cloris Leachman de 1953 à 1979. Ils ont eu cinq enfants : Adam Englund, Bryan Englund, George Englund Jr., Morgan Englund et l'actrice Dinah Englund.

George Englund est né à Washington et aurait été le meilleur ami de Marlon Brando, qui a joué dans le film Le Vilain Américain en 1963, et a écrit des souvenirs sur leur amitié.

Il meurt vraisemblablement d'une chute le 14 septembre 2017 à 91 ans.

Biographie

He was married to actress Cloris Leachman from 1953 to 1979. They had five children: Adam Englund, Bryan Englund, George Englund Jr., Morgan Englund and actress Dinah Englund. He is the son of actress Mabel Albertson who played Darrin's mother, Phyllis Stephens, on "Bewitched". His maternal uncle was actor Jack Albertson from "Chico and the Man".

Englund was born in Washington, D.C. and was reportedly best friends with Marlon Brando, who starred in Englund's 1963 film The Ugly American, and wrote a memoir about their friendship.
