Fahadh Faasil is an Indian film actor known for his work in Malayalam cinema. Fahadh made his debut at the age of 19 in his father Fazil's Kaiyethum Doorath (2002). After a gap of six years, Fahadh made his comeback in cinema with the anthology film Kerala Cafe (2009). His notable films include Chaappa Kurishu, Diamond Necklace, 22 Female Kottayam, Amen, Artist, Annayum Rasoolum, North 24 Kaatham, Bangalore Days, and Iyobinte Pusthakam. He won the Kerala State Film Awards for Best Actor for his roles in Artist and North 24 Kaatham and Second Best Actor Award for his role in Akam.

Biographie
On 20 January 2014, he got engaged to Malayalam and Tamil film actress Nazriya Nazim whom he married on 21 August 2014. The pair had gotten to know each other more on the sets of Anjali Menon's Bangalore Days (2014), in which they were playing a husband and wife. The film's story revolves around three cousins Divya (Nazriya Nazim), Krishnan P.P., also known as Kuttan (Nivin Pauly) and Arjun (Dulquer), who share a close bond since their childhood. The film starts with a message "The aged aren't always wise, nor do the elderly always understand justice" Job 32:9. The story is narrated by the communist leader (TG Ravi) who witnessed it. The story is set in 1900 in Munnar in British occupied India. Harrison is a British businessman who comes to Munnar to cultivate tea. Harrison finds an able boy amidst his workers and names him 'Iyob'(Job). Harrison holds Iyob close and helps him get married to Annamma (Reenu Mathews). Harrison's wife leaves him, later he sees Kazhali (Lena) and becomes interested in her. When he finds out Kazhali's relation with Thacho, one of his servants. Iyob kills Thacho after Harrison order him to. Afterwards, Harrison takes Kazhali as his mistress and she becomes pregnant. In the time of the First World War, Harrison's business gets affected and he leaves for Britain but dies on the way. Knowing this Iyob throws Kazhali out of the house and takes over all assets of Harrison.

The plot revolves around the lives of few people around an ancient Syrian church in a Kuttanadan village called Kumarankari. The next day a call comes to the church informing that the new Priest Fr. Vincent Vattoli is taking charge. The Kumarangiri folks now come to know that Fr. Vincent Vattoli was actually the saint himself who appeared in front of them.

Rasool peeks inside and gets her number from the phone. Rasool is nervous and shy at first but his friends persuade him to text her through phone. no replies comes at first. then one day, Rasool approaches Anna and tells her that he loves her. Anna is surprised and stunned and moves away without an answer.The following day Rasool is sick and stays home. Anna boards the ship like every other day but is anxious since Rasool was not around anywhere she went that day. Anna seems restless as she cannot stop thinking about Rasool and why he had not come to see her.She could not wait longer and she desperately texts Rasool on the phone. Rasool on receiving the message rushes to see Anna. Anna further tells that she is scared and tells him it will not work out. Rasool then explains that he loves her no matter what and religion does not affect his affection towards her. Then Anna calls him one day to go to a convent where a nun tries to persuade Rasool to change his religion for marriage which Rasool declines. In the later part of the movie, we will understand that this nun is Anna's elder sister who had gone to convent after a love failure. Ashley who had a soft corner for her does not reveal it to her even after knowing about her love failure.
