Biographie
Dylan Verrechia, né le 9 mars 1976 à Paris, est un réalisateur français primé, qui a grandi au Vésinet et à Saint Barthélemy. Enfant il est atteint d’une maladie orpheline, qui le cloue au lit pendant de nombreuses années. Passionné par l’imaginaire des romans, il dévore les contes et légendes du monde entier, ce qui ne sera pas sans influence sur la suite de sa carrière. Dylan Verrechia a poursuivi ses études à l'université de Nanterre et à l’université de New York. Il a travaillé avec entre autres Harvey Weinstein, Spike Lee, Samuel Pollard, Morgan Spurlock, les Rolling Stones, Kanye West, Wu-Tang Clan, Hollywood Chewing Gum et Jean Rouch. Every day, a sea of passengers floods the Majestic Railway Station of Bangalore City. Beneath the commotion of commuters, a group of orphans live beneath the station, collecting the trash that the passengers have left behind. The filmmakers befriended these children who, uneasily and slowly, opened up to them, sharing their life stories as no one before has ever heard. This documentary upholds a strong moral content by not only depicting the reality and hardship of these children, but also the positive aspect of this social group that works within its community. Kids of the Majestic is a documentary by filmmaker Dylan Verrechia and Dr. Suhas Radhakrishna that follows a group of such orphans: Rafik, a smiling young drug addict; Mental Manja, nicknamed "mental" because he didn't speak until he was 10; Arun-Badur, the artist and the writer; Baba, who at 8 has travelled throughout India alone; and Joti, mother-to-be at 16, who was abused at 9.

Indio is a fourteen-year-old-boy who lives in Playas de Tijuana. Every day after school, Indio works at Sacramento’s ranch in the hopes of buying his own cockfighting rooster, el Gyro. When his dad refuses to help him buy the rooster, Indio starts selling empanadas and washing cars. One day, after he skips school to play with his friends, Indio meets Brianda, a young prostitute working in the red light district. As time passes, Indio learns what it means to make money, a tough journey that takes him cross the border, from Montes Olímpicos to San Diego. Dans la Chine du début du XVIII siècle, Li Mu Bai est un virtuose des arts martiaux. Las des combats, il décide de confier « Destinée », son épée légendaire, à Shu Lien, une amie de longue date avec qui il a vécu de nombreuses aventures et à qui il n'ose pas avouer son amour. Celle-ci doit remettre la fameuse épée au seigneur Te, à la résidence duquel elle fait la connaissance de Jiao Long (Jen), la fille du gouverneur Yu, qui a été promise à un homme qu'elle n'aime pas et ferait tout pour mener une vie aussi libre que Shu Lien. Mais une fois la nuit tombée, un habile voleur parvient à dérober l'épée malgré tous les efforts de Shu Lien pour l'arrêter. Shu Lien et Li Mu Bai, qui a appris que Jade la Hyène, meurtrière de son maître, se trouve à Pékin, tentent de retrouver l'épée. Shu Lien soupçonne que le voleur n'est autre que Jiao Long et confirme ses doutes en testant les capacités de la jeune femme.
