Dani Menkin (Hebrew: דני מנקין, born June 22, 1970) is an Israeli film director, screenwriter and producer.

Biographie

Dani Menkin was born in Tel-Aviv in 1970. He is married to Miriam and they have one daughter. They currently live in Herzelia.
Menkin started his career as a sports reporter for the Israeli sports channel in 1994. In 1995 he moved to the 2nd national Israeli channel, continuing covering the sports field, quickly joining the popular sports commentary program "HaDaka ha-91" with Yoram Arbel. In 2001 worked on adventure series for National Geographic. During those years Menkin worked as a directing supervisor for the Israeli notable feature "Hochmat HaBeygale" ("The Wisdom of the Pretzel") along with the director Ilan Heitner. In 2005 he has opened his own company, "Hey Jude Productions" and started writing and directing his own documentaries as well as drama features. Currently teaching at the Syracuse University as an artist in resident, part of Schusterman Visiting Artist Program.
