Bobby Darling (born Pankaj Sharma) is an Indian trans woman actress active in Bollywood and regional Indian films, celebrity, reality show participant, and model. Before transitioning she appeared in the Limca Book of Records for doing 18 roles as a gay man by the time she was 23 years old.
In 2006 Darling came into wider Indian prominence when cast in the first season reality TV programme Bigg Boss, which follows the Big Brother format, which was first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands. Darling was also the first person representing sexuality minorities which has continued on the show. She has since appeared on other shows, and media, and made appearances while continuing her acting career.
In 2013 Darling was honoured to be performing for the first time in her career a mujra dance.
Darling identifies with the LGBT community and has expressed that her arrest, along with other guests at a private party was solely due to police bias against gay people, "I doubt the police would have taken such action had it not been a gay party ... I did not see any form of indecent behaviour." She has been a vocal supporter of LGBT rights.

Biographie
Darling was born in Delhi, India. A homosexual from a young age, Pankaj ran into problems with her family due to her sexual orientation. Her mother died when Darling was a teenager. She said in a 2009 interview that her appearance on the reality show Sacch Ka Saamna (Hindi: सच का सामना, "Facing the Truth"), the Indian version of the popular American show The Moment of Truth, which itself is adapted from the Colombian reality game show Nada más que la verdad, helped reunite her with her father. The two were brought together on the show when her dad was the special surprise guest. She underwent surgery for breast implant in 2010.Darling identifies with the LGBT community and has expressed that her arrest, along with other guests at a private party was solely due to police bias against gay people, "I doubt the police would have taken such action had it not been a gay party ... Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai is a tale of a budding actress (Veena Malik) who is over motivated to become a successful in Bollywood. Saawan... The Love Season tells the story of a couple, Raj (Kapil Jhaveri) and Kajal (Saloni Aswani). They get married, and when they come back from their Honeymoon in Patiala, Kajal finds a man who predicts the future (Salman Khan). Whether it's the death of a person at 9 p.m. or a major accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, the man knows it all. He's a modern-day Nostradamus. When Kajal asks him about her future, he tells her she'd die two days later. Obviously, Kajal is shattered, she tells Raj who swears if anything happens to her, he would kill the Nostradamus. On the fateful day, Kajal is mistakenly shot by the cops outside a shopping mall and dies. Raj blames the Nostradamus for it, breaks into his house, bashes him black and blue and Nostradamus dies. When Nostradamus dies, Kajal, who is already pronounced dead, wakes up. She's alive now. She falls in love with Raj all over again, and with the help of Raj's friend Funsukh (Johny Lever) and his admirer, they get the couple re-married and they live happily ever after.

This is a comedy about three physically impaired men: Tom (deaf), Deepak/Dick (blind) and Harry (mute).
