Barkha is an Indian Army Brat, who spent her formative years roaming from one military town to another with her father, who was a Colonel. She is the youngest of three sisters, the eldest being a hotel management professional and the elder a fashion designer. She was very popular amongst her childhood friends, especially in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Fort William. She was also voted as the NDA Queen, in Dec 2000, where she was escorted by her old friend, S Ganguly. She is married to Indraneil Sengupta, her fellow actor and co-star from Pyaar ke do naam...Ek Radha Ek Shyaam and Doli Saja Ke. The couple tied the knot on 2 March 2008 after a two-year courtship. Dimpy Singh (Madalsa Sharma), approaches Samrat Tilakdhari (Rajeev Khandelwal), a private investigator, with a strange case. Their garden got ruined for reasons that appear natural but are not known; leading horticulturists have examined the fading plants but they have not been able to identify the probable reason. Further, her father's favorite horse died; once again the reason for the pre-mature death remains a mystery. That's not the end; Dimpy’s father Mahendra Pratap Singh (Girish Karnad), otherwise a very strong and balanced man, has been experiencing deteriorating health. Dans la petite ville imaginaire de Ranjaar au Gujarat, les familles Rajadi et Sanera s'affrontent violemment depuis des temps immémoriaux, le moindre incident étant prétexte à en découdre.
