Kodandarami Reddy (Born July 1) is an Indian film director known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema.
His association with Chiranjeevi created blockbusters like Khaidi, Pasivadi Pranam, Athaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu, Nyayam Kavali, Abhilasha, Goonda, Challenge, Donga, Rakshasudu, Kondaveeti Donga and Muta Mestri.

Kodandarami Reddy made blockbusters like Anasuyamma Gari Alludu and Nari Nari Naduma Murari with Nandamuri Balakrishna. He worked on Vicky Daada, President Gari Pellam and Allari Alludu with Nagarjuna Akkineni.

The story begins with four friends Ram Murthy (Satyanarayana) hotel Server, Damodaram (Rao Gopal Rao) Photographer, Kotaiah (Nutan Prasad) Chariot Rider, Bhadraiah (Bheemiswara Rao) bandmaster. Ram Murthy happy with his wife and two sons Raja and Sandeep, Damodaram has a son Siva, even Raja & Siva are also close friends, BBhadraiah has two daughters Lata and Rani. Once a drunker (Allu Ramalingaiah) who cannot pay his bill decides to sell his ticket to the server Ram Murthy and he purchases the ticket with his three friends. When the ticket turns out to be a winner, Damodaram and Kotaiah turn on the other two, murdering Bhadraiah and framing Ram Murthy goes on the run but Kotaiah and Damodaram intervene and throw him over a bridge into a river and soon after Ram Murthy wife also dies in an accident and his two children are taken care by Mary (Sumitra) whom Ram Murthy looks as her own sister, along With her daughter Julie.

Bheema Raju (Jaya Prakash Reddy) a mafia don, kills his henchman Rajeswara Rao (Chalapathi Rao). Raana (Nandamuri Balakrishna) son of Rajeswara Rao kills Bheema Raju and becomes a mafia don himself. He becomes a very powerful man in the society and later on marries an innocent village girl Ganga (Heera Rajagopal). Bheem Raju's son Devaraj (Charan Raj) try to kill Raana in many ways, but nothing works out. Raana kills a Municipal Commissioner (Raghunath Reddy) for raping a girl. Dr. Kasthuri (Bhagyasri) who is a doctor and also an ally of the bad guys does the postmortem of the body and tells the police about the murder and tries to send Raana to jail. Raana kidnaps Kasthuri and threatens her and while he is killing her Shankaram Master (Chandra Mohan) obstructs his way begs him to leave his daughter, then suddenly Raana finds out that Kasthuri is none other than his long-lost sister. But he not able to express the truth, because he has given a promise to his adopted father Rajeswara Rao that he never till his wife Parvathi (Annapurna) that he is their adopted son. Devaraj uses the situation, develops more and more enmity between Kasthuri & Raana and desperately tries to kill Raana using Kasthuri. But she comes to know that Raana is her brother towards the end of the film.

The rivalry between two families splits a village 'Seetaramapuram' into Seetapuram and Ramapuram. Seetapuram head Bhusayya (Nambiar) and Ramapuram head Bhadrayya (Kaikala Satyanarayana). Bose (Chiranjeevi) is a very patriotic man who fights for the rights of the local market workers against Aatma (Sharat Saxena), the nearby underworld don. Seeing his dedication for helping the working poor, the Chief Minister (Gummadi Venkateswara Rao) asks him to enter politics. As a politician, he takes charge of a special branch of commandos and destroys Aatma's illegal operations. In retaliation Aatma has Bose's sister falsely implicated in a prostitution case, after which she commits suicide on the court steps. Bose resigns from his position and takes revenge on Aatma. Finally, he returns to his old life at the market.
