Johnny Ola is a fictional character appearing in Francis Ford Coppola's film The Godfather Part II and in the novel The Godfather Returns. Ola was portrayed by actor Dominic Chianese.

Johnny Ola is a mobster and right-hand man to Jewish mobster Hyman Roth. He is an enforcer and "made man" of one of Five Families of New York City.

Ola is Sicilian but speaks American English without a foreign accent. Ola is part of Roth's plan to assassinate Michael Corleone at his home at Lake Tahoe, with unwitting help from Michael's brother Fredo. When Michael asks if Fredo and Johnny had ever met, they deny knowing each other, but Fredo later inadvertently reveals that he and Ola had visited a sex club together in Havana; Michael then realizes that Fredo had betrayed him. Michael sends his bodyguard Bussetta to kill Ola and Roth. Bussetta strangles Johnny Ola before attempting to kill Hyman Roth.

Le récit commence en 1901, dans la ville de Corleone en Sicile, aux funérailles du père du jeune Vito, Antonio Andolini, qui a été assassiné pour une insulte au seigneur local de la Mafia, Don Ciccio. Pendant la procession, le frère aîné de Vito est assassiné à son tour parce qu’il a juré de se venger du Don. La mère de Vito se rend auprès de Don Ciccio pour implorer sa clémence et jurer d'épargner son plus jeune fils, mais il refuse. La mère pointe alors un couteau sous la gorge de Don Ciccio, en intimant à son fils l'ordre de fuir. Celui-ci s'enfuit en courant et voit une dernière fois sa mère, abattue d'un coup de fusil. Les hommes de Don Ciccio fouillent la ville pour trouver le garçon en menaçant les habitants, mais il parvient à fuir la ville caché dans les bagages d'un ânier. Le jeune Vito finit par se retrouver sur un bateau en partance pour New York. À Ellis Island, un agent de l’immigration confond la ville natale de Vito, Corleone, avec son nom de famille : il est enregistré aux États-Unis sous le nom de « Vito Corleone ».
