Shudra: The Rising is set in the time of the Indus Valley Civilization civilisation and has a storyline that concerns the caste system of ancient India.
The film is a fiction loosely based from the Malaysia's historic event occurred within 1969, when the racial tension reach its height. The film portrays the close friendship between the second Malaysian prime minister, Tun Abdul Razak and his deputy, Tun Dr Ismail. They were secretive about their health problems as they had the task of restoring the peace in their country following the events of 13 May 1969. Tun Razak was suffering from leukaemia and he had to keep it a secret from his family. They both sought the services of Dr. Macpherson. The reading room of Tun Dr Ismail became a secret clinic for their treatment.
The film focuses on an incident in which French football fan Brice Taton died in Belgrade, and which led to 12 young people being sentenced to a total of 115 years of prison. On September 17, 2009, a fight broke out on Obilićev venac Square when Partizan fans attacked several Toulouse fans, which - the film claims - led to Brice Taton falling off a ledge and dying in a hospital ten days later. According to the director Ivana Rajović, one of the Partizan fans, Stefan Veličković, couldn't have been a part of the fight, because he was getting a traffic violation ticket in Makedonska street several blocks away at the time the fight was taking place. In spite of Stefan having an alibi, he was sentenced to seven years in prison.
Though raising the universal aspect of humanity rather than emphasize the religious aspects, this film is about Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia) first indigenous bishop: Monsignor Albertus Soegijapranata SJ, from his inauguration until the end of Indonesia's independence war (1940–1949). This turbulent decade marked by the end of 350 years of Dutch occupation, entry and commencement of Japanese occupation of Indonesia, the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence, and the return of the Netherlands who tried to get Indonesia back as part of their Dutch Empire, which led to the Indonesian National Revolution. Soegija wrote all these events in his diary reflections, and also its participation in relieving the suffering of people in the midst of the chaos of war. He tried to play a role at all levels, local politics, national and international. (For his participation, President Sukarno awarded him with the title of National Hero of Indonesia.

Au cours de la bataille de Sarikamis, opposant l’Empire russe à l’Empire ottoman au cours de la Première Guerre mondiale, un groupe composé de sept individus de différentes classes sociales réussit à fuir la zone de combat et à trouver un chemin hors de danger pour permettre à chacun de retourner à la maison. Ils arrivent pourtant dans un village abandonné, en plein hiver et bientôt, la nourriture vient à manquer…
En 1986, à la suite de l'accident de la navette spatiale Challenger, le président Reagan forme une commission d'enquête présidentielle chargée de déterminer les causes de l'accident. Parmi ses membres se trouve le professeur Richard Feynman, physicien de renom, qui comprend rapidement qu'il est le seul membre réellement indépendant. Avec l'aide d'autres membres de la commission, il parvient à mettre en lumière un certain nombre de défaillances et à révéler au grand jour ce qui a conduit à l'explosion de la navette.
L'intrigue se déroule dans une Inde médiévale de fiction. Kochadaiiyaan est un chef de troupe juste et bienveillant, mais un jour, il est victime d'un complot et tué. Son fils, Rana (incarné par Rajnikanth), qui n'a plus rien, se jure de venger son père et de sauver son royaume. Des années plus tard, lorsqu'il revient dans son pays natal incognito, il met en œuvre son plan.

Les rêves et les ambitions du couple sont réduits à néant dans les premiers instants car les plantations n’ont rien d’un Eldorado. Le couple est réduit en esclavage afin de rembourser les dettes contractées.
Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, his film biopic on the National leader who fought also for dalits, which has been in the making for the past nine years, is now seeing the light of the day. The film which fetched Malayalam superstar Mammooty a National award in 1999, however took a while to reach the audience. After the English version received the award, Patel said "the decision was taken to go in for different dubbing versions. It was decided to dub the film in eight languages. So it needed time to write the script, go for script approval from prominent Sahitya Akademi winners,". That entailed going for dubbing teams and a series of voice trials. Mammooty is doing the Malayalam and Tamil dubbing but not the Hindi.

She read his novels and says he should be in Parliament. Disraeli asks Mary Ann to help him, so she goes to the Conservative party leaders and gets their support for Disraeli.
