Venakteswarlu alias Venky (Venkatesh) comes to the house of Murthy (Prakash Raj) on recommendation of his father Sekhar (Chandra Mohan) who is a childhood friend of Murthy. Nandini alias Nandu (Arti Agarwal) is the daughter of Murthy. Venky enters that place when Nandu is about to get engaged to a software professional from the USA. Soon, Venky bonds with everyone from Murthy's family. Murthy helps Venky secure a job. The relationship between Venky and Nandu starts with hatred and turns into friendship. Nandu confessess her love for Venky to him. Venky, who does not want to spoil the relationship between their parents, decides to leave the house. But Murthy goes to the railway station and talks to Venky, which causes Venky to return. On his return, Nandu stops speaking to him. When Venky accompanies Nandu and Pinky (Nandu's cousin) to Nandu's friend Asha's wedding, sparks fly between them.Even though Venky also is in love with Nandu, he does not express it and pretends to not have feelings for Nandu.When they get back, its time for Nandu's wedding! Venky takes the onus of running the show of marriage. The demure Nandu is shattered.Circumstances lead to everyone finding out about Venky and Nandu. What follows, and how Nandu and Venky end up together forms the climax of the story.

C. C. Baxter, dit « Brin d'amour » (« Bud » ou « Buddy » en VO), est un petit employé d'une importante compagnie d'assurances, très gentil, seul et célibataire au milieu de New York, ville hyper active ou l'être humain est soumis à la cohue, le productivisme, la publicité et la solitude. Il met son appartement à disposition de ses supérieurs comme garçonnière, par complaisance et servilité ; il espère des avantages professionnels... et il faut bien payer le loyer. La gestion des quatre « co-locataires » est un casse-tête, son appartement est laissé sens dessus-dessous, ses voisins et sa logeuse sont indignés de ce défilé de jolies filles et du bruit, qu'ils lui attribuent, et il doit parfois attendre dehors à des heures tardives ou dans le froid. Il attrape d'ailleurs un rhume carabiné lors du dernier prêt de son appartement.

Finally, Fareeda gives birth to a boy, but because of her continuous deliveries, Fareeda becomes ill and dies. Abdul Razaq takes his five children to Dubai. The film begins with a baby taking his first steps on a beach supported by his father. The narrator (Murali Mohan) states that, it is right for a father to support his child in his infancy, but questions whether the father should continue to hold the child's hand even after he is 24 years old. As the credits roll, a visibly angry Siddharth Siddhu Addala (Siddharth Narayan) begins verbally abusing all the fathers in the world. When queried about his disgust, he says that his father, Aravind (Prakash Raj), gives him more than what he asks for. He cites instances where his choices of dressing, hairstyle, and many others are overruled by his father's. However, he vows that his career and the woman he marries will be his own choice.
