Synopsis
Police Inspector Arjun Singh (Sunil Shetty) is a brave and honest police inspector stationed in Khandala. He uses harsh ways against all the criminals. He is a very strict Police Officer. His colleague and friend is Inspector Khan (Om Puri) who always supports him. Arjun is in love with Kaajal (Raveena Tandon) who is the daughter of a senior police officer, A.C.P. Amar Agnihotri. Arjun's own father does not agree with the harsh ways he uses against the criminals. Arjun is always supported by his sister.Acteurs

Arjun Singh (Sunil Shetty) comes from a very poor family. He lives in a small and shabby tenement with his mom and sister. He studying in a collage where he fall in love with Deepa (Divya Bharti). One day he attack a pollice officer and was jailed. Deepa save him from jail with the help of her father (Tinnu Anand), who is a Police Commisner. Deepa's father want Arjun to join police as he say the department need some honest officers. He join police and was sent to another city where the original police inspector was killed by the goons. He go the city along with his Mother and Sister. This puts him into conflict with Bhai (Danny Denzongpa), a notorious gangster. In order to teach Arjun a lesson, Bhai orders people in this community to stop interacting with Arjun and his family, and as a result the three are alienated. His sister is raped, and his mother passes away. Then Bhai has Arjun captured and chained. But Arjun manages to escape, only to find that he has been framed for murder and is arrested by the police.

Vishal Agnihotri (Sunil Shetty), a convict, is imprisoned for the murder of a group of four criminals who had brutally raped and killed his sister-in-law. Vishal tries to get justice in court but is unsuccessful and the men are let out free with the help of a corrupt lawyer. They then visit Vishal's home for trying to file a case on them, and try to rape Vishal's wife Priya (Poonam Jhawer), but she kills herself with a knife. Angered at all this Vishal decides to take the matter into his own hands and murders the four criminals himself. He is sentenced to life in prison for the crimes.

Inspector Varun Saxena (Vinod Khanna) successfully apprehends Pilot Baba’s (Amrish Puri) son for running over and killing Deodhar (Arun Govil), a fellow police inspector. Vijay (Sunil Shetty) sole ambition is to become a collector like his father was. He is concentrating completely on his studies except for a few disturbances by Pooja (Anjali Jathar) who loves him and wants to marry him. Vijay always believed that his parents were in fact murdered and not killed in an accident, by their old faithful security officer Babu (Danny Denzongpa). Vijay starts searching for Babu, and finally when he finds him, Babu tells him that he was merely used as a pawn to cover up his parent's murder and the actual killer is roaming scot free, and only one man can lead Vijay to the killer and that is Girdhari (Lalit Tiwari) in Khandala. But before Vijay can find the truth, Girdhari is killed. Vijay and Babu start working in a casino owned by Shanti Prasad (Anupam Kher). There the local don Rana (Mohan Joshi) becomes their enemy, who is after Shanti Prasad's casino and Vijay's life. Finally when Vijay decides to leave Khandala, he comes to know of the actual murderers. Vijay loses Babu in the fight. Now Vijay is all-alone to fight with his enemies.
