Vikram is a 1986 Telugu film. directed by V. Madhusudhana Rao, produced by Akkineni Venkat on Annapurna Studios. Starring Akkineni Nagarjuna, Sobhana played the lead roles and music is composed by Chakravarthy. The film was a remake of the 1983 Hindi film, Hero, it is the first debut of Akkineni Nagarjuna as a hero. The film recorded as Hit at box-office.

Synopsis

The film starts off with Sardar being taken to prison. To get out of the situation, he writes to his best man, Vikram. Vikram goes to Ananda Rao and warns him. He then kidnaps Ananda Rao's daughter Radha. He tells her that he is a police officer and they fall in love; however, she finds out that he is a goon. Nevertheless, she does not leave him but urges him to surrender. Transformed by true love, Vikram surrenders himself to the police and is imprisoned for two years. Back home, Radha tells her brother Rambabu the whole truth. To keep Radha from getting married to somebody else, he calls his friend Tommy to put on a show that Radha and Tommy love each other. Tommy misunderstands the situations and actually falls in love with Radha. When Vikram comes back, he starts working in a garage and tries to reform himself. Despite everything, Ananda Rao kicks him out of his life. After many days and events that follow, Rambabu finds out that Tommy is a smuggler. After getting released from prison, Sardar desires revenge against both Ananda Rao and Vikram, so he kidnaps Radha, Ananda Rao and Rambabu. Vikram comes at the last moment and frees all of them. As a happy ending, Ananda Rao lets Radha marry Vikram.

Chakravarthy) in which K.P & Basanthi dies. Siddhardha comes back and becomes Godfather to syndicate, the remaining story is who he takes revenge against villains.

Akkineni Nagarjuna is an A.C.P. officer from Visakhapatnam who comes to Hyderabad and stays with his friend Nassar. He is known for his righteous but raging actions and Nassar gets worried about it. Salim Ghouse kills Nassar when he and Nagarjuna kidnap him and eventually kidnaps Nagarjuna's daughter. How Nagarjuna saves his daughter and finishes the villains forms the rest of the story.

Aravind (Nagarjuna Akkineni), Chandru (Sumanth) and Krishna Murthy (Sudhakar) are childhood, friends. Chandru and Krishna Murthy are orphans, who are generously brought up by the parents of Aravind. By the time they reach their 20's, Aravind's sister Amrita (Pratyusha) falls in love with Chandru. Chandru hesitates to love her, as she is the sister of his close friend. Chandru seeks the help of Krishna Murthy to avoid Amrita. After the entire episode, Aravind and Chandru go to Hyderabad to work with Krishna Murthy. When this trio is assigned to renovate an old palatial house, Aravind encounters Padmini (Bhoomika Chawla). A mischief by the jealous cousin of Padmini results in Aravind falling for Padmini. When Padmini is about to get engaged to another guy, Chandru announces that Padmini cheated Aravind after loving him. Aravind and Padmini realize that Padmini's jealous cousin's responsible for ruining everything. Aravind's jealous cousin lies to Chandu that Aravind intentionally killed Chandu's brother. Aravind kicks his evil cousin out of the house. Chandu tries to save Aravind, but Aravind's hand is too slippery and Aravind falls off the mountain. Although Chandu tried to save Aravind, Chandu blames himself. Chandu realizes that his brother was accidentally killed by Aravind. Few years later, Chandu reunites with Aravind's family.
