The film is considered a throwback of the jiangshi fiction-genre films popularized in the 1980s by Mr. Vampire.
Synopsis
According to legends, corpse handlers Mo (Wayne Lai) and Ma Siu-ling (Kingdom Yuen) were in charge of looking after a group of vampires. Among the vampires, Wong Ching (Jude Poyer) and Jenny (Emana Leung) were a pair of lovers whom were poisoned to death. The imperial government is still tracking the killer. Since the killer was worried that his crimes will be brought to light, he hires black magician Ha Lai-cheuk (Yuen Wah) to destroy the corpses. However, this case involves a secret letter written by the emperor, thus, Ha orders his followers, Mo and Ma to find the whereabouts of the letter.Acteurs

Deux jeunes garçons qui travaillent dans un magasin de VCD pirates, emmènent la voiture de leur patron à réparer. Sur le chemin du retour, ils renversent accidentellement un homme. Un peu plus tard, ils réalisent qu'ils ont oublié le corps dans la voiture et décident de voir s'il n'a pas bougé. Mais le corps a disparu, et peu après, le parking est bondé de zombies.

A film crew travels to a remote island to shoot a music video. The island is inhabited by some villagers and an eccentric police inspector. Paranormal events occur during their stay: eerie screams are heard at night but the villagers dismiss them as wolves' howling; a strange young man is seen wandering around, asking whether they had seen someone called Ying. In addition, while shooting a scene in the water, the actresses felt something tickling their feet. An old woman narrates a tragic story about a pair of lovers from the village who were separated from each other because the woman's father opposed the relationship — the man was burnt to death while the woman drowned herself at sea. A mysterious feral child is revealed to be the one responsible for making the screams, and the old woman recognises him as the lovers' long-lost son. A ritual is performed to put the lovers' spirits to rest and their son is adopted by the villagers.

Cheung Le Brave travaille pour le maître Tam, un riche marchand. Il ignore cependant que sa femme le trompe avec son patron. Voyant Cheung comme un obstacle, il décide sans scrupule de se débarrasser de son employé. Pour cela, il décide donc de louer les services d'un puissant taoïste vénal dénommé Chin. Son "frère", le taoïste Tsui, n'est pas du même avis et entreprend d'aider Cheung à se défendre contre les maléfices qui le hanteront dans la nuit.
