Synopsis
Rachel Turney (Lindsey Shaw) travaille dans un cabinet immobilier à New York et doit établir la succession du propriétaire d'une ancienne bibliothèque dans une petite ville du nord de la Californie. Elle découvre sur place que les habitants y sont très attachés. Elle va y rencontrer Jake Kenman (Derek Theler), un écrivain itinérant venu faire des recherches sur un célèbre hors-la-loi pour son prochain roman historique...Acteurs

Danny (Bryan Burke), is a young student in middle school. He starts to develop feelings for his best friend, Julie (Michelle Trachtenberg). However a new student by the name of Archie (Michael Galeota) comes in and sweeps Julie off her feet. Danny flees to the graveyard where his father is buried and talks to him about his problems. He soon comes across Hubbie the Ghost (Ralph Macchio), who helps Danny with his girl problems. As a former living person from the 30's, Hubbie, gives Danny his advice. The advice repeatedly backfires, always leaving Danny depressed. Danny soon learns that Hubbie once had a former lover before dying in an accident. Danny and Julie end up together at a school dance and Hubbie re-connects with his former love with the help of Danny.

Frannie and Calvin, a couple in their late twenties in Manhattan, had been dating for a few months when Frannie discovers she is pregnant. Calvin leaves on a tour with his band before Frannie finds the courage to tell him about the pregnancy. Frannie goes home to visit her parents just outside Toronto where her mother convinces her to tell Calvin, though the cell phone signal is weak and distorted and she believes he hung up on her. On her way back to New York a border guard refuses Frannie entrance to the USA as her visa has expired. When she says she has her apartment and job in New York she receives no sympathy. She then confesses to being with child hoping to gain some understanding from the female border guard. The border guard then bars her from entry to the USA for 12 months. Frannie is forced to do her work as a magazine editor from her parent's home. Calvin shows up a little while later at Frannie's parents' home. Calvin and Frannie soon realise they have no idea how to cook, keep house, or raise a child and their relationship deteriorates. Michael Tate, a famous writer, offers to help Frannie get her visa reinstated because of the difficulties of having Frannie work remotely as his editor. Frannie moves back to Manhattan and begins to develop a relationship with Michael. In the end Frannie realises that the glamour and romance Michael has to offer is not what she wants and she seeks out Calvin who has returned to New York and his experimental jazz band that incorporates 'found instruments'.

Arthur Banks (Sutherland) is an Ivy League-educated hitman for Latin American drug cartels who picks up solitary women, uses them as cover for a hit, then kills them. His trademark is a bullet with a tungsten core. In a desperation sting, Scanlon plants Agent Bennie Harper (Walters), portraying a drifter, in Banks' path, and Banks picks her up for what he says will be his last job, a hit on a Mexican presidential candidate. Scanlon and Agent Donna Marbury (Stefanson), along with several support agents, follow Banks and Harper through the Southwest, but the scheme goes wrong when one of the tailing agents is spotted and caught by Banks.

Eddie Lenahan est un petit escroc, et afin d'éviter la prison où des gangsters l'attendent, il se fait passer pour fou et se retrouve à l'hôpital psychiatrique. Ayant effectuer les 21 jours de surveillance médicale ordonné par le juge, Kevin risque de partir directement en prison car le directeur de l'hôpital le croit saint d'esprit. S'ensuit une mutinerie des malades qui ne veulent pas que Kevin parte. Ils retiennent le directeur en otage. En voulant détruire son dossier médical et s'enfuir, Kevin est surpris par l'administratrice de l'établissement qui le prend pour le docteur Kevin Slattery. N'ayant pas le choix, Eddie est obligé de jouer le jeu s'il veut s'en sortir. Malheureusement la folie gagne l'hôpital, et les éléments extérieurs se déchainent.
