Raqeeb (Hindi: रक़ीब, Urdu: رقیب, translation: Rival (in love)) is a 2007 Bollywood action-thriller film directed by Anurag Singh (director), and produced by Raj Kanwar. The film stars Sharman Joshi, Jimmy Shergill, Rahul Khanna, Tanushree Dutta. It released on 18 May 2007 and received mixed response from critics. However, it did well at the box office grossing 39 crores.
Synopsis
The story is about Sophie (Tanushree Dutta) and how she tricks two men to fall in love with her through her charms. Sophie is in love with Sunny (Jimmy Shergill) and, to improve their lifestyle, she starts conning men into falling in love with her. Then she murders them and steals all their money. However, Sunny does not know that Sophie is planning to take all the money and frame him for the murders.Acteurs

This is a comedy about three physically impaired men: Tom (deaf), Deepak/Dick (blind) and Harry (mute). They live together as paying guests, and their life takes an endearing turn when a beautiful girl Celina comes to live in the bungalow opposite their house. Sue McKinley (Alice Patten), une jeune londonienne, rêve depuis longtemps de réaliser un film d’après les mémoires de son grand-père, membre de la force de police britannique en Inde au début de la révolte indienne pour l’indépendance. Cependant ceux-ci ont du mal à comprendre les motivations de leur personnage, eux qui ne croient pas en l’avenir de ce pays corrompu à tous les échelons politiques. Dans ce pays où rien n’a réellement changé depuis l’Indépendance de l’Inde, comment peuvent-ils croire en l’engagement de ces premiers révolutionnaires ? Cependant l’interprétation de leur personnage dans le film de Sue, ainsi que l’événement dramatique survenu à leur ami Ajay (Madhavan), vont les amener à changer totalement et tous vont s’engager dans un combat très dangereux. Pour leur ami et pour changer leur pays et la sociétè de la corruption et de l'injustice ils ont sacrifié leur vie.

The story revolves around a group of people who were not connected to each other in any way other than by ill fate. These were people from different parts of India who had traveled to the US and now were boarding the ill-fated flights that crashed into the Twin Towers and Pentagon on 9/11. Nikhil Kapoor (Sanjay Suri) decides to return from the USA to Mumbai. When he arrives, he decides to chill out at a nightclub. Whilst in the company of Rahul and Steve (Rehaan Engineer), another one of Nikhil's friend; the woman shows up again and she is revealed to be Anamika Joshi (Urmila Matondkar). She walks in with her friend Farhad, and when Nikhil tries to talk to Anamika, Farhad begins to think he is flirting with or disturbing her, and a fight breaks out.
