Power Cut is a 2012 Indian Punjabi romantic comedy film. It was the last film directed by Jaspal Bhatti and produced by Paveljeet Singh under P & R Films and Mad Arts, Jaspal Bhatti Film School. The lead actors include Jaspal Bhatti himself, his wife Savita Bhatti and several well-known Punjabi actors. The film was released on 26 October 2012 worldwide. The movie mocks the power outages and corruption in India, especially in the state of Punjab.

Mahaul Theek Hai (meaning 'the situation is okay') is a record setting Punjabi film. It is a comedy satire about the police force in India. The plot is a story where boy (Smeep Kang) meets girl (Chandni Toor). The hero's brother Raj Babbar, is involved with an illegal businessman. The heroine's father Kulbhushan Kharbanda is cheated of land by his own brother. Played by director and satirist Jaspal Bhatti, the villain of the film is a corrupt SSP (police superintendent) who misuses his authority to threaten people and hide his own excesses. His love interest is played by Bhatti's real life wife (Savita Bhatti). Shot mainly in the northern India city of Chandigarh, the story uses a simple plotline to create its comedy. Every situation which should seem serious is filled with the incessant jokes and humour which are Bhatti's trademark.

The film opens with a news headline on news channel with the breaking news that CM of punjab Gurdial Singh has been hospitalized on account of major heart attack and using this reason other political parties are trying to bring down the present government of P.S.D (Punjab Sewa Dal)and for this Baljit Singh Wadala (Prem Chopra)President of P.S.D is holding a rally to meet the people and assure them that soon the condition would revert back to normal and that there party is always ready to serve people of punjab soon after this he goes to hospital to meet CMwho asks him to occupy the vacant seat of Chief Minister which he refuses.outside the hospital some journalists question another member of the party Baldev Singh (Shivender Mahal) regarding parties'next decision to which he says that Whatever would be the decision taken by the party would be for the welfare of people of punjab.then comes the inroduction of Nachhattar Singh (Rahul Dev)who is one of the most popular politicians of the party along With Babbar (Binnu Dhillon)another member and right hand of Nachhattar Followed by introduction of Vikramjit Singh Wadala son of Baljit singh Wadala and a party member.then comes Squadron Leader J Singh,Jasdeep Singh Wadala (Jimmy Sheirgill) a Short tempered ace Air Force Pilot who's love interest is Baani (Surveen Chawla)Daughter of his Senior.Meanwhile Baljit singh announces that till present CM recovers a Deputy CM would be made to run the Govt. and this person would be the next CM candidate for next Elections. Then comes Heera Singh (Rannvijay Singh)a student union leader who is a very close friend of Nachhattar Singh. His love Interest is Suhani (Japji Khaira).Nachhattar Singh expects that he would be the Dy.CM.Meanwhile Jasdeep Singh is ordered to go to Punjab for the Promotion of air force university.here it is revealed that jasdeep is not in good terms with his father Baljit Singh Wadala as jasdeep had to leave the house to join air force and swore not step in the house ever when his father who was all ready to establish him as a powerful Candidate of PSD as he wanted him to join politics this showed that father son relationship was bittered.Meanwhile Media creates a tension for who would be the Dy.CM and finally Vikramjit singh wadala is announced as the Dy.CM against the expectation of Nachhattar who was expecting to be the Dy.CM. Nachhattar leaves the party on being suggested for doing the same by Batra a businessman.Nachhatar was in thirst of power and said whoever would come between him and CM's seat would meet death to which Heera singh feels that Nachhatar should not have such an attitude. meanwhile both the brothers jasdeep and vikramjit meet after a long time and after few days on the birthday of jasdeep vikram comes to greet him and gives him his gift and asks him to forget everything and to apologise to their father where jasdeep asks him to have a party at night with him.sameday during the night jasdeep picks up vikram from a spot and vikramjit accompanied him without the security cover.jasdeep asks him whether their father knows that he has come to meet him or not where jasdeep comes to know that only vikram's wife prabhjot and Baldev know that vikram is out and that their father does not even no that jasdeep is here. Jasdeep agrees to apologiseto his father just for sake of his brother.Meanwhile a car crashes into Vikram who is killed in this accident.After Vikrams' death the father son rivalry deepens. Then Jasdeep goes to meet Nachhattar in order to convince him to rejoin the party and not leave his father in such a condition now hopefully he would be made Dy.CM. Nacchhatar rejoins party and apologises Baljit Singh.Next Jasdeep comes to know from Batra and Heera that Nacchhatar has got Vikram killed in the car accident.Jasdeep returns home and apologises his father to which his father agrees and forgives him.Jasdeep tells Baldev about Nacchhatar's truth of killing Vikram to which Baldev said that he is with Jasdeep and would take care of everything and that intelligence would solve the matter and that convict would be caught soon.Now Babbar tells same thing to Jasdeep that Nachhattar has got Vikram killed and that he is organising a rally in memory of Vikram.Jasdeep tells this to Baldev who asks him to go to rally with Nachhattar and to look into the depth of this matter.Jasdeep and Nachhattar go to rally together in same car.At the rally Babbar gets a call and then he hurriedly runs toward Nachhattar to protect him from the shot he is .Stampede occurs and all politicians are taken to cars by security and this time Jasdeep does not accompany Nachhatar media becomes active and attack on Nachhatar becomes the breaking News on every News Channel.At the same time a bomb blast occurs and Nachhatar is killed.Jasdeep goes to meet Babbar who was hospitalised due to injury where he comes to know that Babbar 'lied' him about Nachhatar' involvement in Vikram's accident! And that Batra forced him to tell this to him.Jasdeep rushes to meet Batra whose men attack Jasdeep. Jasdeep asked Batra that who got Nachhatar killed to which Batra said that he is the same person who got Vikram killed! And also that the person is from his own home! Jasdeep shares everything with his father Baljit who tells him that in politics it never happens what it seems so he should be careful.Jasdeep takes Baldev with him to a empty ground and narrates thia whole story as a story of a 'king'and their the truth comes that it was Baldev behind all incidents i.e. he was the master mind behind this story it was all revenge for not getting the power of Dy.

The story revolves around Simran (Mahi Gill) who is a Canadian NRI working as a manager at a local cafeteria in Chandigarh. JB (Jaswinder Bhalla), Goldy (Vivek Shauq), and Pinka Bhoond (Gurpreet Ghuggi), are three of the four main characters who chase Simran all through the movie. All three of them are more interested in Canada than in Simran. Smeep(Smeep Kang) on the other hand actually loves Simran from the deepness of his heart. He fell for her beauty since the time he saw her for the first time three years ago during Simran's hotel management course. Udanchhoo is a con comedy feature film, which revolves around the lead protagonists Dev (Rajneesh Duggal) & Sonia (Sayesha Saigal), a couple residing in the city of dreams, Mumbai. Sonia's father, an NRI, Raj Singhania is a staunch believer of Baba G, a spiritual Guru who is known to lure his devotees into bhakti and thus, extract money from them. Mr. Raj too is persuaded to donate all his wealth in the name of Baba G. Sonia opposes her dad's idea and contemplates suicide. Baba G convinces Sonia, it is only 'Aam' mangoes her father intends to donate. Thus, in the name of 'Aam' a full blown heist begins as Baba G wants to secure his black money by rotation in financial markets. He appoints R.K, his right hand man to go about the task. R.K in turn, appoints Dev to do the needful, as he would easily pass off as innocent. Dev wins R.K's trust, Sonia's love and goes on to become Baba G's most trusted associate.

The film opens in India. It is the early 20th century, when India remains part of the British empire. The opening sequence shows a group of British soldiers plundering an Indian fort and taking its riches by air to England. They are stopped by the valiant Raja Azad Singh (Dara Singh). Raja Azad Singh is immensely strong, and manages to lasso the light aircraft, subdue several English soldiers and recover the stolen jewels. Around this time, Raja Azad Singh's wife Rani Durga (Nirupa Roy) gives birth to a baby boy, who is named Raju. Raja carves the word mard (man, intending to convey strength and bravery) into the newborn's chest, noting proudly that the baby is smiling throughout, and can apparently feel no pain. (His words, mard ko dard nahin hota, meaning "a true man feels no pain", are a recurring dialogue throughout the movie.) The British commission conducts an investigation, led by a sympathetic and liberal Englishwoman, Lady Helena; the investigation uncovers the atrocities of the English troops and results in several officers being officially reprimanded. Lady Helena is a close confidant of Raja Azad Singh, and is generally supportive of Raja and the idea of India gaining independence from British rule.

Rajeshwar is the only son of Dharamraj, who is an industrialist, and partners with Naglingam Reddy, Nagendra, and Dhanraj. Rajeshwar then meets a girl from a poor family Bharati, who happens to be his school teachers daughter and falls in love with her. Bharati's father is Vishnupratap a schoolteacher, who is really uhappy for he is unable to earn enough money to feed his family and provide them with basic amenities. He and other teachers work in the school managed by Dharamraj. The fund management headed by Dhanraj have been for years without giving any hike in fees to teachers making them work. When Rajeshwar comes to know of these he starts confronting each lie of the partners.Bharati has a neighbour, Tilak, who is unemployed, and lives with his mother, Sharda, who works as a maidservant in Dhanraj's house. Later he gets job of a manager in Dharamraj industries and starts almost obstructing all the criminal activities carried out by the three partners. Rajeshwar gets impressed with the sincerity of Tila. Meanwhile Tilak falls in love with the Dhanraj'daughter, Rani. Dharamraj accidentally meets Sharda and he realises that Tilak is his long lost nephew. Dharamraj tells Rajeshwar the history of his family and how Tilak is related to him. Then Dharamraj is killed, and the evidence points towards Tilak and he has to gather evidence to prove his innocence.
