Synopsis
Padduram is the story of a boy Debashish Mehra (Debu) who has a flatulence problem. Being the target of ridicule the boy starts going into his shell. Worried parents try to remedy the situation but do not succeed. It is only when he befriends Aditya that Debu starts coming to terms with himself. Eventually Debu turns his weakness into strength and helps his dad in his business.Acteurs

Unni (Suresh Menon) is a share broker in Coimbatore and leads a comfortable life with his wife Latha (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy) and daughter Lakshmi/Lechu (Baby Niveditha). Into the cosiness of such a living intrudes a stranger (Mohanlal) who introduces himself as Jose. Cashing in on Unni's forgetfulness, Jose goads him into believing that he is Unni's 7th grade classmate. However, a sense of insecurity pervades, with the unwelcome guest – alcoholic and somewhat eccentric – pitching for an extended stay. Unni's misgivings about the 'mystery man' and his ulterior motives proves true, when his confidant and classmate, Dr Alex Varghese (Murali Gopy), on consultation, reaffirms his doubts that they had no schoolmate in the name of Jose. Soon, they discover to their horror that the stranger is that man whose arrival they have been dreading for a long time now, Sivankutty. It is eventually revealed that Unni and Alex ruined Sivankutty's life by framing the latter for a murder which they had committed. The duo realises that it is payback time and that they're at the receiving end. Death is looming over their head.

Ajit Talwar (Kay Kay Menon) is a business tycoon. The movie starts with an interview of Ajit Talwar in a News Channel. Ajit Talwar has a broad business unit. Retired schoolmaster Mussaddi Lal Tripathi (Pankaj Kapoor), the quintessential "Common Man" troubled by his wife's serious illness takes her to the hospital where the utter negligence and vested interests of the doctors result in her untimely death. Mussaddi then along with his young unemployed, drifter son, Bunty (Gaurav Kapoor) he sets out for his pilgrimage to the four Holy sites for the immersion of his wife's ashes. In his absence, pension officers arrive at Mussaddi's house to enquire his status. Musaddi's neighbour Gupta tells them that Mussaddi has gone far away, and the Pension Officers interpret that Mussaddi Lal has expired, and report him dead in their files. When Mussaddi returns he discovers to his utter shock that he is dead according to Government Files. He tries his heart out to make the Pension Office staff believe that he is alive, but they are not convinced at all as they want proper proof.
