Synopsis
Bobby Riley (Pete Jones) is a gay man in the closet, afraid to come out to his three older brothers, even though he's over 30, makes his own money, lives on his own, and is being pressed by his more liberal sister, his boyfriend, and his lesbian beard to tell them. The death of his father and a fishing trip with his brothers provide occasions when he could tell them, but he fails. The expectations of a close-knit Irish Catholic family in Chicago are hard for him to overcome. Eventually all the family's secrets are revealed, his brothers' as well as Bobby's, and the siblings all grow closer in the process.Acteurs

Magnus (Jussie Smollett), an affluent young medical student, is happily in a five-month relationship with his boyfriend, Ryan (Dustin Ross). Magnus's Brown University college friends join him in New York City for Gay Pride for the weekend: lesbian Yale University PhD student and gay-porn aficionado Langston (Shanika Warren-Markland); innocent and sometimes childlike Sebastian (Blake Young-Fountain), who has just come back from a year in Paris paid for by his parent's trust fund; promiscuous Kyle (Anthony Burrell), now living in Los Angeles and enjoying a career in film production; and witty and sarcastic Joey (Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman). Ryan gives Magnus the weekend alone to enjoy his time with his friends, and Magnus reveals to them that he and Ryan have agreed on a six-month abstinence pledge so they can appreciate one another more deeply than the physical level. Magnus takes them all to see the former home of Langston Hughes in Harlem, and the group reflects on their cultural history, while Magnus and Sebastian recite lines from Hughes's poetry.

En 1952, à Hollywood, Ed Wood cherche à percer dans l'industrie du cinéma. Il rencontre le producteur Georgie Weiss alors que celui-ci cherche à faire un film inspiré de l'histoire de Christine Jorgensen (la première personne à s'être fait opérer pour changer de sexe) et lui propose d'écrire le scénario. Peu après, Wood rencontre Béla Lugosi et les deux hommes deviennent rapidement amis. Wood persuade Weiss de le laisser réaliser le film car lui-même aime s'habiller en femme et en mettant en avant la participation de Lugosi au projet. Wood réalise son rêve en étant à la fois acteur, scénariste, réalisateur et producteur de Glen or Glenda? mais le film est un grave échec à la fois commercial et critique.
