Synopsis
Modesty Blaise travaille comme croupière dans un casino de Tanger. Une bande de criminels prend en otage le personnel pour accéder au coffre du casino. Pour gagner du temps en attendant son associé censé détenir la combinaison, Modesty joue à la roulette avec Miklos, le chef de la bande. À chaque fois qu'elle gagne deux fois de suite, Miklos doit relâche un otage, et à chaque fois qu'elle perd elle doit dévoiler un élément important de son passé. L'histoire mouvementée de Modesty est ainsi dévoilée à travers plusieurs flashbacks.Acteurs

Linda Quiroz plays a woman at home who prepares to make "Hamburger Helper". When she sets the box on the counter top and turns away, the Hamburger Helper Helping Hand materializes out of nowhere next to it. It comes to life, talks to her, and tries to strangle her. She tries drowning it in the kitchen sink, which doesn't work. It appears dead for a moment, but then spits the water in her face, runs away and hides. While she searches for it, the Milk Man shows up with a delivery. He touches her on the shoulder, and she mistakes him for the helping hand, then wrestles him to the floor. When he tells her where the hand is hiding, it then proceeds to kill the Milk Man (Sam Raimi) with a kitchen knife in retaliation for "telling on him". The woman resorts to trapping the Hand in a bucket. The Hand screams that it is suffocating, and plays dead. As she searches for a trash bag to dispose of the dead Hand, it escapes. She catches it and puts it through the blender, killing it. She then proceeds to continue preparing her meal, and opens a can of biscuit dough, only to find the Pillsbury Doughboy on her counter top, presumably starting her ordeal all over again.

During the filming of a nature programme in the Indonesian rain forest, a British TV crew discover a rare white flower, but are attacked and killed by a Danish hermit, Severin Geertsen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). Severin, who is sentenced to death for the crime, claims he is 129 years old and that it is the leaves of the flower that have kept him young. Criminal psychiatrist Adrian (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) and his assistant, Beate (Birgitte Hjort Sørensen) are sent to Indonesia by the Danish authorities to mentally examine Severin. Although the claim that the flower gives eternal life sounds like a hoax, within hours Adrian, Severin and Beate are fleeing from international fortune hunters and the Indonesian army, who all want to acquire the flower.
