Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 2 (also known as Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai – 2 Lagnala Yaychach) is an upcoming Indian Marathi language romantic drama film produced by Yashlita Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. and distributed by Mirah Entertainment and Everest Entertainment. It is the sequel to 2010's superhit marathi film Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai. Directed and written by Satish Rajwade, the film stars Swapnil Joshi, Mukta Barve in lead roles and Prashant Damle, Mangal Kenkre, Vijay Kenkre, Savita Prabhune, Asawari Joshi, Shruti Marathe, Suhas Joshi in supporting roles. The screenplay and the dialogues were written by Ashwini Shende.
The film score and soundtrack album are composed by Avinash-Vishwajeet with lyrics are penned by Shrirang Godbole, Ashwini Shende and Vishwajeet Joshi and cinematography by Suhas Gujarathi. Subhash Nakashe is the film's choreographer while the editing was done by Rajesh Rao.
The principle photography began on February 2015 and the film scheduled to release on November 12,2015. The film is marks the most awaited film in marathi.

The story revolves around two characters, a boy (Swapnil Joshi) from Pune and a girl (Mukta Barve) from Mumbai, whose names are not revealed. Barve is shown to arrive in Pune to meet a prospective groom (whom she has already decided to decline), and inadvertently comes across Joshi to ask for directions to the prospective groom (who is referred to as ‘Hridaymardyam’ after the name of his residential colony). She finds the place, but seeing the door locked, checks out the neighbouring houses to find his whereabouts, but is turned away by the neighbour. She calls up her relative in Mumbai via a public phone (her mobile having run out of battery) and decides to spend the day in Pune, waiting for Hridaymardyam to show up. She bumps into Joshi again, and asks him directions to the nearest coffee shop. Joshi offers her a ride instead, and she being new in town, agrees, if only to save the hassle of searching for an address again; and they end up having coffee together. In the coffee shop, the two debate about their respective hometowns and constantly try to boast about their own city. She is exasperated by his constant chatter, but they share a curious chemistry nevertheless.

Pia (Pia Bajpai), a typical “Mumbai” girl, makes her first ever day trip to Delhi and agrees to meet a possible match for marriage on her mother’s insistence. Retired schoolmaster Mussaddi Lal Tripathi (Pankaj Kapoor), the quintessential "Common Man" troubled by his wife's serious illness takes her to the hospital where the utter negligence and vested interests of the doctors result in her untimely death. When Mussaddi returns he discovers to his utter shock that he is dead according to Government Files. He tries his heart out to make the Pension Office staff believe that he is alive, but they are not convinced at all as they want proper proof.
