Synopsis
Le joueur professionnel de cas Silverthorn veut cesser de fumer et se retirer dans un petit ranch dans Marlpine il a acheté récemment. Sur le chemin, il sauve la vie du shérif, qui est entré dans une embuscade. Cependant un autre homme est mort, Will Donovan, dont il a acheté le ranch! Ni les enfants du shérif ni Donovan connaissent la vente. Donc affaire doit revenir à son ancien métier, alors qu'il tente de clarifier la situation.
