Kodambakkam (Tamil: கோடம்பாக்கம்) is a Tamil film directed by Jagan.
The star of the film Nandha made his debut in the film Mounam Pesiyadhe as Surya Sivakumar's friend. The film received many awards including best debut actor for Nandha. Tejashree, the film's prominent heroine explained that the success of the film was purely due to the 'loving and encouraging' KODAMBAKKAM crew.

The first few scenes themselves set the tone; first, a hesitant and bashful Venugopal (Cheran) trying desperately to carry on an interesting conversation with a prospective bride Ranjitha (Vimala Raman), in her picturesque home in Nagercoil. The conversation proceeds quite well in the beginning, until it hits an unexpected snag—Venu was hospitalised for extreme stress during his school years; he still stammers as the result of the strain, and when he's unexpectedly put into stressful situations. Ranjitha, unimpressed with the story and wary of his behavior, rejects him.

The plot opens with water over flowing from a flat in 'E-block' which is seen by the apartment watchman. When he goes to the flat to stop water he witnesses a young woman Ramya (Sindhu Menon), who had drowned in the water. Eventually the investigation of the death is taking place which is done by an officer Vasudevan (Aadhi), who also happens to be the ex-flame of Ramya. Though circumstantial evidence claims it as a suicide, Vasu doubts it is a suicide and starts to investigate it in another angle.
