Kick 2 is a 2015 Telugu action comedy film written by Vakkantham Vamsi and directed by Surender Reddy. It features Ravi Teja as the protagonist and is the sequel of the 2009 Telugu blockbuster Kick starring Ravi Teja, which was also directed by Surender Reddy. The film is produced by actor Nandamuri Kalyan Ram on N.T.R. Arts banner. The film was officially launched on 20 August 2014 and the principal photography began on the same day. The audio soundtrack of the movie was composed by S. Thaman and was released on 9 May 2015. The film was released worldwide on 21 August 2015. The movie collected around ₹48.5 crore (US$7 3 million) in its 14-days run.

Synopsis

Kalyan Krishna (Shaam) comes to meet his old friend, Kalyan (Ravi Teja), who is now married to Naina (Ileana), settled in Virginia has become very rich and is still looking for a kick in life. When Krishna asks Kalyan about his son, Kalyan gets angry and says his son is worse than him. Robin Hood (Ravi Teja), is Kalyan's son and despite his father saying, Robin looks for "comfort" more than Kick. Robin was taken out of his mother's womb in only seven months because he felt it was uncomfortable. Robin became a doctor so that if he gets injured, he can treat himself immediately. Robin wishes to start a hospital in Hyderabad with their land, but Kalyan says that it has been grabbed by a goon, Settlement Durga (Ashish Vidyarthi). Robin arrives in India and stays in the rented house of Pandit Ravi Teja (Brahmanandam), but Pandit is continuously tortured by Robin. Robin also challenges Durga that he will get back his land without taking out a hand on him.

Ram (Shaam) and Lakshman aka Lucky (Allu Arjun) are brothers and are polar opposites in nature. At the age of 11, Ram’s family and Anjali’s family members are killed by Anna (Ashish Vidyarthi). Ram's father is Prakash Raj, who is an ACP. Tony (N. T. Rama Rao Jr) does anything for money. When Tony went to Kashmir he met a young girl named Niharika (Tamannaah) while being kidnapped by terrorists. That happened because Niharika's brother was an undercover cop and when goons found out they killed the whole family. The only one who survived was Niharika but she had a bullet in her head. The doctors said that she would lose her memory soon. So, she tells Tony to kill the people who killed her family because she had seen Tony beating up a bunch of people. In the end tony kills all the goons who killed Niharika's family.
