The film opens with the murder of business magnate Amit Singhania (Bakul Thakker) who lives a wealthy lifestyle along with his wife, Ria Singhania (Shamita Shetty), in a spacious bungalow. He runs a company, Spykar Jeans. Ria is asked to co-operates with the Police, who suspect her for foul play as she is the sole proprietor of Amit's business and wealth. The police also suspect Amit's subordinate, Siddharth Sardesai (Parmeet Sethi), who may have killed Amit, who was also having an affair with Sonia Sharma (Sonia Kapoor), who works for an ad agency run by Diwakar. Ria meets with Aditya (Manoj Bajpai), who also works for the same ad agency, and is attracted to him, both get have sex, but Aditya, who is married to Neha (Shilpa Shetty), and has a school-going son, Arya, decides to break off this relationship much to the chagrin of Ria, who decides to teach Aditya a lesson - and she does this by acquiring the ad agency where Aditya works, and is all set to turn Aditya's life upside down. Aditya confronts her and returns home in a drunken state with blood on his clothes. Shortly thereafter Aditya is arrested by Police Inspector Kelly - and the charge is murder - that of Ria Singhania.

Arjun Kapoor (Arjun Rampal) is a successful criminal defense lawyer. The film opens with him defending his friend Raj Thakur (Vipul Gupta), who has been accused of rape and murder. Arjun's defense strategy involves suggesting the victim had dubious morals. The victim's parents confront Arjun outside the courthouse, cursing him for his lack of a conscience. Later Raj confesses to Arjun that he is guilty; when Arjun is disturbed by his friend's lack of shame, Raj points out that Arjun's success comes from defending wealthy criminals like him.

This is a comedy about three physically impaired men: Tom (deaf), Deepak/Dick (blind) and Harry (mute). They live together as paying guests, and their life takes an endearing turn when a beautiful girl Celina comes to live in the bungalow opposite their house. Jahaan (Kiran Janjani), Aakash (Vikas Sethi) and Jahaan's girlfriend Nikki (Adyasha) are good friends and members of a dance troupe. Jahaan wants to get rich very quickly while Aakash wants to establish his career as a dancer. Impressed by Jahaan's dancing skills, Sonia (Mink Brar) tells him that he could earn a large sum of money by stripping at shows. The other also joins him on the condition that he will do it only once. The second friend refuses to do another show and both the friends quarrel over this matter. Jahaan continues to perform at strip shows. At one of these shows he meets a middle-aged woman, Sharon (Mita Vashisht), and falls in love with her. When Sharon gets bored of this affair, she breaks it off but Jahaan is unable to recover. He does not behave properly with Nikki and eventually she leaves him. One day, Aakash's father Mr. Rai invites Jahaan to his home for dinner. At his house Jahaan learns that Sharon is actually Mrs. Rai, Aakash's mother.

The film opens up in J.S Medical College, Pune, where the principal calls Dr. Rohan Verma (Faraaz Khan) and tells him that he has received a gold medal, a bungalow, a car and a chief surgeon post in Bombay. Verma and his wife Suman (Suman Ranganathan), a school teacher, both reach their new house in Bombay. One year later, while they are asleep, they hear a voice. Verma starts searching the house when suddenly a burglar (Makrand Deshpande) attacks him. Suman starts calling the police, but the burglar escapes. Two policemen, Inspector Indrajeet Saxena aka Inder (Milind Gunaji) and Inspector Sule (Vishwajeet Pradhan) arrive to investigate and tell them to file a report. While in school, a peon fraudulently puts drugs in Suman's handbag. Inspector Sule tells her that she has to be arrested in drugs case, but Inspector Inder informs her that she is free to go as the drugs were put by the peon and he has confessed. The peon is shown dead on the floor with blood on his face.

Mumbai is in the midst of a turf war between two gangs, collectively referred to as the Mumbai underworld when Satya (J.D Chakravarthy), a man without a past, comes to the city looking for employment. Police Inspector Veer Chauhan is an honest and diligent man, who lives in India with his wife, Naina, and a son, Sahil. While Veer likes to go by the book, his partner, Inspector Khan, is exactly the opposite, reckless, and trigger-happy. Yash Thakur (Sanjay Kapoor) and Suraj Prakash (Salman Khan) are inseparable friends. After completing their studies, they go their different ways. After completing his training successfully, Suraj is assigned to the investigation against his friend, Yash, which shocks Suraj, but which he accepts. Yash's criminal dad has many contacts, and soon Yash also comes to know of Suraj's job, and his assignment. Suraj must now convince Yash that his father is not what he appears to be, and at the same time take criticism and pressure from his superiors for not proceeding with the investigation against Yash.
