The musical score for the film is done by Bernard Herrmann, and the title song is performed by Richard Chamberlain.
Synopsis
Eighteen-year-old Brooklynite Annie McGairy has moved to the Midwest to marry her law-student love Carl Brown. The couple must overcome many obstacles including disapproval from their parents, who knew each other before emigrating to America from Ireland, financial problems, and Annie's sexual insecurities. These problems are all compounded when Annie discovers she is pregnant.Acteurs

The narrative follows David's life from the time he was a boy shepherd to his death as the aged King of Israel. Part 1: David and King Saul relates the exploits of the young David (Bottoms) and his relations with King Saul (Quayle). It begins with David as a humble shepherd who becomes harp player to the King who is distraught after the prophet Samuel has chastised him for failing to follow the instructions of the Israelite god, Yahweh, in a battle. Samuel informs Saul that Yahweh will anoint another king in his place. Saul is full of jealous rage as David becomes hero to his people after the battle with Goliath and his subsequent anointment. Saul makes attempts on David's life. David is highly conflicted over his devotion to Saul as Yahweh's first anointed King over the people. He will not kill Saul, despite Saul's constant attempts on his own life, as he feels it will offend the deity. Saul dies in battle and David assumes the throne. Part 2: David the King begins with a mature David (Michell) and tells the story of his sinning with Bathseba (Seymour), including the scenes with her bath and their subsequent love-making. As David ages he is challenged by the treason of one of his sons, and eventually passes the crown on to another of his sons, Solomon.

Après l'« affaire des Ferrets de la reine », Milady de Winter est décidée à prendre sa revanche en faisant enlever Constance Bonacieux, dont D'Artagnan est amoureux. Soutenue par le comte de Rochefort, qui part porter secours aux assiégés de La Rochelle, elle s'engage à participer à l'assassinat du duc de Buckingham. D'Artagnan, Athos, Porthos et Aramis parviennent à échapper à de multiples attaques mais ils ne réussissent pas à empêcher la mort du Duc. Le cardinal de Richelieu parvient cependant à prendre La Rochelle et les quatre mousquetaires se lancent alors au secours de Constance, retenue prisonnière dans un couvent. Ils arrivent cependant trop tard et découvrent le corps de Constance, assassinée par Milady. Ils signent alors l'arrêt de mort de cette dernière qui, une fois capturée est livrée à la hache du bourreau de Béthune. Par la suite, D'Artagnan est arrêté par les gardes du cardinal et se retrouve devant ce dernier. Découvrant que le jeune mousquetaire a une fois de plus déjoué ses plans, Richelieu décide de lui remettre un brevet de lieutenant en échange de son silence.
