Johnny le vagabond (titre original : Johnny Come Lately) est un film américain réalisé par William K. Howard, sorti en 1943.

Synopsis

C'est bien la première fois, depuis ses débuts de journaliste, que Tom Richards est arrêté par la police. Certes, son travail lui impose de nombreux déplacements, mais de là à se faire emprisonner pour vagabondage ! C'est pourtant ce qui lui arrive, alors qu'il réalise un reportage dans la petite ville de Plattsville. Une belle âme vient heureusement à sa rescousse : Vinnie McLeod, une vieille dame propriétaire du journal local, obtient sa mise en liberté conditionnelle. Tom et Vinnie vont s'associer pour combattre la corruption des politiciens de la ville..
