The film features Nitin and Nithya Menen in the lead, with Ajay in a pivotal role. Cinematography for the film was handled by P. C. Sreeram and the music was composed by Anoop Rubens. Ishq released on 24 aug 2012 to positive reviews and became one of the highest grossing films of 2012. A Bangladeshi remake of this movie named Love Station starring Bappy Chowdhury and Mishti Jannat was released on 5 September 2014 & will remade into Kolkata as Aashiqui starring Ankush Hazra and Nusrat Faria Mazhar in 2015. The film was also remade in Tamil as Uyire Uyire (2015).
Synopsis
The movie begins with a scene where the injured Siva (Ajay) is being rushed to the hospital. His father (Nagineedu), comes to the hospital and scolds him for his rogue behavior and disowns him and says that he will only return if Siva changes. It turns out that Siva had failed in a love affair with a girl named Divya. Three years later Rahul (Nitin) is a very jovial and friendly guy who likes to have fun and play practical jokes. He studies in Delhi and has just finished semester exams and heads back to Hyderabad for vacation where his family lives. Meanwhile Priya (Nithya Menen), a beautiful and lively girl, is going to Hyderabad to take her semester exams and meet her brother. Rahul sees Priya at a traffic jam on the way to the airport, but does not quite see her face. Priya sees Rahul recovering a toy for a child. She is impressed, but she does not get to see his face either. But she collects his cap after Rahul loses it while recovering the toy. At the airport, Rahul plays a prank on Priya after he recognizes her by her bracelets and tattoo he saw at the traffic jam which annoys Priya. While flying to Hyderabad he falls for her. Unexpected circumstances force their plane to land in Goa. There, Rahul apologizes for his behavior. Priya recognizes Rahul as the person who recovered the toy for the child at the traffic jam after Rahul recognizes his cap. Priya then starts being friendly with Rahul.Acteurs

Karthik (Charan), hailing from a rich family, is quite inept in his academics. Neha (Shriya) is Subbu's (Chandra Mohan) daughter and she's motherless. The film starts in Goa with the henchmen of Don Makrand Kamati (Vikramjeet Virk) kidnapping a girl at the beach and turning her into a slave for sale after injecting drugs into her. When police officer Madhusudhan (Devan) catches the slaves and drugs racket, Makarand and his henchman (Ajaz Khan) interfere him while speaking to the Media. They injure the honest Madhusudhan and turn him an immobile person. Thus their trade continues. The film then shifts to a time a year later where Varun (Nithiin) is shown roaming in the locales of Spain. Varun is a hippie kind of vagabond wandering all over the world. He lost his parents in his childhood when he was at America. Calling himself a free soul, he never believes in relationships and earns his living by working in part-time jobs he finds in Craigslist and rests at nights on the roads with some kitchen equipment to cook food. Now he is in Spain and there he comes across Hayathi (Adah Sharma), an Indian who arrived to Spain to meet her friend Priya (Kesha Khambati).

Radha Mohan and Krishna Veni are a couple leading a miserable marital life due to several misunderstandings and decide to apply for divorce. They die on 14 February 1983 at 10:20 AM near a clock tower on their way to the lawyer's office. Their son, Nageswara Rao, becomes a rich and influential businessman and happens to come across his parents' lookalikes, Nagarjuna and Priya. After befriending them, Rao decides to re-establish them as a couple but is shocked when Nagarjuna introduces his lover, Prema. Rao manages to dissolve the relationship with the help of his personal adviser, Girish Karnad. Unaware of this, Nagarjuna swears not to fall in love with anyone. At the same clock tower, Rao meets Dr. Anjali and falls in love with her at first sight. He helps her in admitting an injured old man to a nearby hospital and donates his blood. The injured man, Chaitanya, is shocked upon seeing the pair as they resemble his deceased parents, Seetharamudu and Ramalakshmi.

Karthik (Nithiin) is a carefree guy who believes in "one should make their own decisions" funda. Karthik mistakes Sravani for Sruthi and talks to her over the phone. Unbeknownst to him, Sravani knows who Karthik is and develops an interest towards him. A series of events clears Karthik's confusion and everything is revealed. Meanwhile Karthik helps his friend Madhu (Madhunandan) in gaining a girl's attention, who is none other than Sruti. Sruthi falls for Madhu. A series of comedies lead to Madhu doubting Sruti and their relationship is at stake. Later they will unite. Meanwhile, Sravani plans to avenge the deception and pain that Karthik put her through. She gains employment as Karthik's boss and decides to put him through the same hardships. However, towards the end, Karthik wants to propose to his boss(Sravani) and Sravani is ready to reject his proposal to avenge her pain. Just before he proposes, Karthik realizes he is truly in love with his phone friend Sravani and runs to her house to plead her forgiveness. There he sees Sravani and both unite with a hug.

The film begins with an accident. Gautham (Nani) is abducted by John Abraham (Ashish Vidyarthi). On the way Gautham is forced to narrate his tale as Gautham talks of stopping a marriage and John too talks of preventing a wedding. Hence, the flashback. Gautham is ready to propose to Simran (Kriti Kharbanda) with a bunch of red roses. But destiny has other plans. Elsewhere, Nithya (Nitya Menen) is playing cricket and hits Gautham with her shot. He is then taken to the hospital in the stretcher. Simran falls in love with the doctor treating Gautham and they get married eventually. Gautham is invited and goes to the wedding but cannot face Simran. When he walks out, he gets drunk and meets a drunk Nithya who actually was in love with the doctor. They go around freaking during the night and part ways the next day. As destiny has it, they happen to meet in a pub after a few days. Gautham accompanies her everywhere. He realises he's in love with her. But before he could tell her, he gets to know that she is already engaged. Gautham steps back and stays secluded. Nithya and her fiance end their engagement over an argument about Gautham. Unaware of this and having moved on, Gautham starts dating a veterinary doctor, Kavya, but they break up after an altercation. Now Nithya who realizes that she loves Gautam, goes to Gautam's house after his mother dies, to propose him but shocks to see Kavya and Gautam's house. Thinking that they both are married, she leaves to Bangalore and accepts the marriag proposal her parents set for her. After realizing Nithya misunderstood him, Gautham and his friends leave for Bangalore to stop the marriage. In the way to Bangalore, their car stops and Gautam asks for lift and they accept and that is where he was kidnapped. After a big fight between Gautam and the kidnapper, it is revealed that the kidnapper was looking for one who gave Gautam lift not Gautam. The kidnapper helps Gautham to reach the wedding. Gautam's friends reveal the truth to Nithya. Nithya in order to meet Gautham escapes from the wedding and ends up asking the kidnapper lift. After a whole confusion, Nithya unites with Gautham.
