Head Office is a 1936 British drama film directed by Melville W. Brown and starring Owen Nares, Nancy O'Neil and Arthur Margetson. Its plot involves a secretary who is wrongly accused of stealing money from the company she works for. It was made at Teddington Studios by the British subsidiary of Warner Brothers.

Une querelle de famille éclate à Hulstone Towers, dans le Northumberland, entre Geoffrey et Phillip Musgrave et leur sœur Sally à propos de l'affection qu'elle porte au Capitaine Pat Vickery, un pilote américain en convalescence à la propriété. Peu après, un médecin traitant, le Dr Bob Sexton, est apparemment agressé alors qu'il se promène. Le médecin responsable de l'établissement, le Dr John Watson, se rend alors à Londres et demande à son ami Sherlock Holmes d'enquêter. À leur arrivée au manoir, Holmes et Watson découvrent le corps assassiné de Geoffrey, un crime qui a eu lieu juste sous les yeux de l'Inspecteur Lestrade de Scotland Yard.

Major George Daviot is left by his wife Ann due to their growing estrangement and her knowledge that he has fallen in love with another woman, Josie Bradford, the wife of one of his fellow officers. Daviot goes off with friends for a weekend party at a country house attended by a number of prominent figures including businessmen and politicians as well as Captain Bradford and his wife. The tension between Bradford and Daviot is obvious during grouse shooting as Bradford is clearly aware of Daviot's affair with his wife.

In the London of 1912, Carol Deane (Daniels) becomes famous for a portrait of her painted by artist Mark Poynton (Arthur Margetson), who is infatuated with her. Carol however marries Lord Robert Brenning (Michael Drake), much to the chagrin of Poynton. She gives birth to a son then with the outbreak of World War I, Lord Robert goes off to fight on the Western Front while Carol becomes a nurse. Poynton is admitted as a patient to Carol's hospital, and tells her he is still in love with her. Carol tries to make light of his persistence, but after being released Poynton calls her to insist that she come to see him, threatening that if she does not, he will make her the subject of a public scandal. Carol goes to visit Poynton, who pulls a gun on her, demanding that she return to live with him. There is a struggle, during which Carol accidentally shoots Poynton dead.
