A miniseries continuation of the film is currently in development.
Filming for He Never Died began in November 2013 in Toronto and concluded in December of the same year.
Jack (Henry Rollins) has developed a routine for his life that he sticks to in order to avoid giving into the impulse to engage in cannibalism. He stays away from society other than occasionally trips to local diners, bingo games, and to the hospital, where he purchases blood from a hospital intern. This routine is only interrupted by the appearance of a few thugs out to hurt him and the introduction of Andrea (Jordan Todosey), who claims to be his daughter. However Jack's past soon comes back to haunt him after a couple of thugs kidnap Andrea in order to use her against him and Jack must now try to find a way to save her without disrupting his life.
