God's Country is a 2012 comedy-drama family film directed by Chris Armstrong which takes place in Los Angeles and the Mohave Desert starring Jenn Gotzon, Daniel Hugh Kelly, Gib Gerard, Michael Toland, Todd Duffey, Suzanne Ford, Arlene Santana, Kelvin Brown, Stephanie Barnes and Gonzalo Menendez. "God's Country" had been compared to "Overboard" with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.
Synopsis
Meghan Doherty (played by Jenn Gotzon) is a young, talented executive who neglects her mother and close friends to focus on one goal making money. After closing a multi-million dollar deal Meghan is asked by Mr. Randolph Whitaker (Daniel Hugh Kelly) (her boss/CEO) to close a deal of a lifetime. She's taking her talent to the Mojave Desert in hopes of getting a Christian land owner (Michael Toland) to turn over his land before auction. With a 100 million dollar potential deal looming, there is nothing that will stand in the way of her getting what she needs to further her career. Not even God or a boy (Gib Gerard)? Over a period of 6 days Meghan goes through spiritual transformation (fish out of water) calling on her favorite investor to help save the Land.Acteurs

Thathachari (Neelu) narrates a small anecdote of Sultan Muhammad bin Tughluq emphasizing on how the king had an arrogant attitude, indifferent view towards his kingdom and subjects, how he treated his guests and also the kind of plans he introduced that backfired. A family goes to a village near Mangalore to finalize a bride for the elder son, Lucky, played by Pavan Kumar. The Harikrishnans (Mammootty and Mohanlal) are one of the most famous lawyer duos in India. To avoid confusion one is called as Hari (Mammooty) and the other as Krishnan (Mohanlal). They head the organization called Harikrishnan Associates, which consists of around 300 lawyers. They get engaged in a murder case of Guptan, who was allegedly killed by Gabriel. Gabriel is a friend of Hari's sister and Harikrishnans become the defense lawyers upon her request. Harikrishnans begin investigation and come across Meera (Juhi Chawla), a friend of Guptan. Both of them fall in love with her. After some trouble over the matter, they rediscover their friendship and get involved in the case again. They discover that Guptan actually died due to poisoning by his relatives who were doctors. At the end Meera decides to go for a random method of choosing her lover as she liked both Harikrishnans equally. Two different climaxes of the film show either of Harikrishnans winning the toss for being Meera's friend; the losing person presumably becoming Meera's lover.
