Duplicate is a 2009 Malayalam film directed by Shibu Prabhakar and produced by Sajai Sebastian and Joji K. John under the banner of Zion International Film Factory with Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead role. This is Suraj's first movie as a hero and he handles a double role in the movie. The film recorded as Super Hit at the box-office in terms of its low budget.
Synopsis
Shivan Kutty (Suraj Venjaramoodu) is a jobless village lad, who finds it difficult to pay back his increasing debts. He is in love with his cousin Meenakshi (Roopashree), though his uncle Keshu (Lalu Alex) doesn't quite approve her relation with a good for nothing guy. Added to his routine of mayhem is a couple of professional killers, who runs after him due to a misunderstanding. But life turns to colourful patches when Sivan Kutty gets mistaken as Jeevan, a look alike wealthy businessman, following a car accident. Sivan Kutty is taken into the wealthy house of Jeevan where he lives in luxury. Meanwhile Jeevan is mistaken as Sivan Kutty and is taken into Sivan Kutty's house. The rest of the plot revolves around Sivan Kutty helping the police ACP (Riaz Khan) to bring under law the killers who are after Jeevan. In the end Sivan Kutty reunites with his love Meenakshi.Acteurs

Jayaraman (Jayasurya) is popularly known as Kunjaliyan (Young Brother-in-law) in Gopalapuram, a village in the Kerala–Tamil Nadu border. He is the younger brother of three sisters. Shivasubrahmaniam (Maniyan Pillai Raju), an innocent bank employee is in love with Rohini (Lizzy), but is afraid to express her his love. His grandmother but wants him to be a Brahmachari and become a priest at the nearby temple. Rohini is working as an artist at the Keerikkad ballet troupe run by Keerikkad Chellappan Nair (Nedumudi Venu). As per the advice of Shankaran Pillai (Jagathi Sreekumar), the assistant of Chellapan Nair, Subru joins the ballet troupe to woo Rohini. She is attracted to his innocent and straight forward behavior and fells in love with him. One day, when missed her bus, Rohini asks a car driver a lift, and she is dropped at the ballet troupe office. Accidentally the car belongs to Suresh Menon (Shankar), a rich business tycoon of the area. Sankaran and Chellappan Nair mistakes her to be in love with Suresh Menon. Chellappan, to appease Suresh Menon offers heroine's role to Rohini and gives an increment. Subrahmaniam is suspended from bank for not attending office for long time. Due to certain misunderstandings, Rohini breaks up with him, hurting him deeply. Subru is also thrown out of the troupe by Chellappan Nair for not performing up to the mark. In the mean time Suresh Menon on knowing about Rohini and her claims of being his girl friend appears in front of her. Not knowing that he is original Suresh Menon, she takes his help in solving out the mess created at the ballet troupe. Suresh Menon solving out the mess and uniting Subru with Rohini forms the rest of the story.

Four friends bought a casino and were celebrating the profit with their family when an underworld don, Gowda (Pradeep Rawat), who used to have a monopoly on the casinos in Goa, intrudes. So they go to Malika and ask her if she knows Sam. She tells them that some years ago he had come to the palace and had met her sister Arathi and that they fell in love. But the royal family didn't accept their love and so they tried to run away from that palace. Several royal soldiers chased Arathi and Sam down through a waterfall. They try to escap by a boat, Sam tells Arathi to stay on the boat till he unhooks it.But when he unhooks the boat The soldiers came so he couldn't help Arathi to escape from the boat. But the soldiers didn't help Arathi, this makes jojy think that someone in the palace doesn't want Arathi to live.
