Ajouter à une liste de filmsBangalore Days is an Indian Malayalam romantic-comedy drama film written and directed by Anjali Menon, and produced by Anwar Rasheed and Sophia Paul under the banner Anwar Rasheed Entertainment and Weekend Blockbusters. The film features an ensemble cast consisting of Nazriya Nazim, Nivin Pauly, Dulquer Salmaan, Fahadh Faasil, Isha Talwar, Parvathy Menon and Nithya Menen in pivotal roles.
The plot revolves around three cousins from Kerala who move to Bangalore, continuing Menon's trend of films about family relationships. The film received positive reviews from critics and collected ₹8.5 crore (US$1 3 million) in its first week. Its final gross collection was about ₹38 crore (US$5 7 million), making it the third highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time. The remake rights of the film, for Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages, was jointly acquired by Dil Raju and PVP Cinemas.
The film received three Kerala State Film Awards including Best Actor and Best Actress awards for Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim respectively, and Best Screenplay for Anjali Menon.
Synopsis
The film's story revolves around three cousins Divya (Nazriya Nazim), Krishnan P.P., also known as Kuttan (Nivin Pauly) and Arjun (Dulquer), who share a close bond since their childhood. Kuttan is a software engineer whose heart and soul is back home in his village, while Arjun is a bike mechanic whose parents are divorced and lives his life on his own terms. Divya had completed her graduation and aspired to do her MBA from IIM but is compelled to get married to workaholic corporate executive Das (Fahadh Faasil) because of her parents' astrologer's suggestions. Divya moves to Bangalore as her husband is settled there,Kuttan does the same for his job and Arjun joins a biker gang as a mechanic in the same city.Acteurs

Manjadikuru is a story of homecoming from late 1980s, when 10-year-old Vicky arrives at his grandparents home in rural Kerala to attend his grandfather's funeral. The disjointed family gathers together for the sixteen-day-long funeral period. During this period, Vicky discovers more about himself, his family and culture than he had expected to. The journey is narrated through the memories of an adult Vicky who returns to the same house to recount the experience. Abdul Razaq (Siddique) and Fareeda (Praveena), a Muslim couple in Kerala, are expecting their first child. Razaq wants the child to be a boy, and wants to name the child Faizal and call him Faizi, but to his disappointment, the child is a girl. Fareeda gives birth continuously to three more girls, which irritates Abdul Razaq, who migrates to Dubai. Finally, Fareeda gives birth to a boy, but because of her continuous deliveries, Fareeda becomes ill and dies. Abdul Razaq takes his five children to Dubai. Faizi is looked after by his sisters whom he affectionately calls "Ithathas & Company" (Sisters and Company).

The movie begins in 1983, where Dr. Mathew Devasya (Renji Panicker) anxiously paces the hall outside of a delivery room. He learns that his wife has delivered a baby boy and thanks God for the good news. A stranger comments that Mathew was lucky not to have a daughter, as he would have had to worry about her all his life. As the stranger says this, a nurse comes out of the delivery room carrying the baby, apologizing that she made a mistake, and confirming that the baby is actually a girl. Mathew glares at the stranger and praises God once again .

Afsal (Dulquer Salmaan) is a lazy fellow who sleeps till 11AM. His mother (Geetha) is so worried about him. The story takes place in Panimalai, a hill city, during a spring season. The film begins with RJ Balaji, playing himself, coming to Panimalai to be a guest of a live radio show.
