Ramesh Babu, brother of Mahesh Babu, under their banner Krishna Pictures Private Limited. It was released on 18 October 2007. It was dubbed into Tamil as Thani Kaattu Raja, and into Hindi as International Khiladi:The Iron Man. Athidi was released with 500 prints in 820 theaters all over the world. Athidi collected a share of ₹28 crore (US$4 2 million) in its lifetime.
Athidi finished 35 days in 400 centres successfully. It grossed ₹35 crore (US$5 3 million) in four weeks. It is being remade in Bengali as Royal with Hiran and Sayantika Banerjee.
Synopsis
An orphan boy, Sunil, wanders through Delhi looking for a job. When selling balloons, he sees a girl and gives her a free balloon. A few days later, during a storm, the girl finds the boy getting soaked and gives him an umbrella. The umbrella blows into a place nearby, where the girl's parents are headed. The boy stops their car and tells them about the dangerous path ahead destroyed by the storm. As the boy has rescued the girl's parents, he gets adopted by them. They name the boy "Atithi", which means "guest".Acteurs

At the age of 11, Ram’s family and Anjali’s family members are killed by Anna (Ashish Vidyarthi). Ram's father is Prakash Raj, who is an ACP. Due to a conflict between Anna and Ram's father, he kills the complete family. In that tragic incident everyone is killed except Anjali (who is a small girl by then), Ram and their uncle. Ram (Shaam) and Lakshman aka Lucky (Allu Arjun) are brothers and are polar opposites in nature. Kalyan Krishna (Shaam) comes to meet his old friend, Kalyan (Ravi Teja), who is now married to Naina (Ileana), settled in Virginia has become very rich and is still looking for a kick in life. When Krishna asks Kalyan about his son, Kalyan gets angry and says his son is worse than him. Robin Hood (Ravi Teja), is Kalyan's son and despite his father saying, Robin looks for "comfort" more than Kick. Robin was taken out of his mother's womb in only seven months because he felt it was uncomfortable. Robin became a doctor so that if he gets injured, he can treat himself immediately. Robin wishes to start a hospital in Hyderabad with their land, but Kalyan says that it has been grabbed by a goon, Settlement Durga (Ashish Vidyarthi). Robin arrives in India and stays in the rented house of Pandit Ravi Teja (Brahmanandam), but Pandit is continuously tortured by Robin. Robin also challenges Durga that he will get back his land without taking out a hand on him.

Tony (N. T. Rama Rao Jr) does anything for money. When Tony went to Kashmir he met a young girl named Niharika (Tamannaah) while being kidnapped by terrorists. He falls in love with her and then rescues her. But Tony found out that Niharika was already engaged to Rakesh. Rakesh is a goon (and the minister's son) but Niharika doesn't know that. When Niharika found out that he was a goon, she dumped him. And she also came to know that she is in love with Tony. Later on Tony kills Rakesh and captures his son DSP Jr.(Sai). Later on when Tony, Niharika, and Chitra (Payal Ghosh) go to the temple, Chitra sees Tony killing someone. And then there is a flashback about how he and Niharika met before but she lost her memory. That happened because Niharika's brother was an undercover cop and when goons found out they killed the whole family. The only one who survived was Niharika but she had a bullet in her head. The doctors said that she would lose her memory soon. So, she tells Tony to kill the people who killed her family because she had seen Tony beating up a bunch of people. In the end tony kills all the goons who killed Niharika's family.

During the political realm of N. T.
