Synopsis
Bundeswehr soldier Klaus' regiment is stationed in France, to take part in NATO maneuvers. The soldiers are ordered to be kind to the populace, since the West German High Command wishes the French to forget the atrocities that were committed during the Second World War. Klaus falls in love with Jeanne, the daughter of the local mayor. He discovers that his commanders intend to demolish the ruins of a local church, in which civilians were murdered by the German occupation forces at 1944. A local journalist who researches the event discovers that West German General Rucker ordered the massacre, but he is mysteriously murdered. Klaus defies his commanding officer Siebert, who instructs him to steal the documents indicting Rucker, and hands the evidence over to Jeanne.Acteurs

As the news of the October Revolution sweep through the world, the German High Seas Fleet's command, wary of a mutiny, decides to send all its ships to a suicide mission in the English Channel. Sailors Albin Köbis and Max Reichpietsch are sentenced to death for political activity. When the socialist sailor Steigert, a member of the firing detail, cannot bring himself to shoot them, he is arrested. On the cruiser Prince Heinrich, Steigert's friends Lenz, Lobke, Kasten and Bartuschek receive Vladimir Lenin's transmit to all of mankind calling for peace. Slowly, the sailors in Kiel — all members of different socialist parties: the Social Democrats, the Independent Socialists and the Spartakists — begin to realize the need for a revolution. The workers and the shipmates rebel against the officers, but the political gaps between them lead the uprising to a failure. In the end, many of the rebel sailors attend the foundation conference of the new Communist Party of Germany.

Former East German engineer Erich Becker had been lured to West Germany by promises of a high reward. Now residing in Stockholm, he is recalled to serve as a spy in the East. He is to convince Dr. Jadenburg to flee from the GDR with the help of his daughter Hanna, who works for the West. While travelling on the train with Hanna, he is told that he is also to murder another agent who betrayed and now works for the Stasi. The traitor is revealed to be a former friend of Becker, Harry Korb. Becker cannot bring himself to kill Korb when they meet. Korb tells him that it was all a test to prove if he is reliable; since Becker failed, Korb murders him. The Stasi agents capture Korb soon after.

L'intrigue se déroule en 1985. Alors qu'ils essaient un procédé pour irriguer le désert de Gobi, des scientifiques tombent sur un artefact d'origine extraterrestre. Le professeur Harringway identifie l'objet comme étant un débris d'un vaisseau originaire de Vénus. Il semble s'agir d'une sorte d'enregistreur de vol, mais seule une partie de son contenu peut être traduit. Les scientifiques terriens envoient alors des salutations par ondes radio jusqu'à Vénus. En l'absence de réponse quelque temps plus tard, une expédition est alors montée pour se rendre sur cette planète afin de chercher des renseignements sur cette mystérieuse civilisation extraterrestre. Il a pour équipage une équipe internationale de scientifiques dirigée par le professeur Sikarna et le professeur Tchen Yu. Le vaisseau Cosmostrator, récemment terminé mais prévu pour un voyage vers Mars, est rééquipé en prévision d'un voyage jusqu'à Vénus. Le voyage durera entre 30 et 31 jours. Pendant le voyage, Sikarna s'efforce de déchiffrer le message vénusien figurant sur l'enregistreur extraterrestre.

At 1946, during the Nuremberg Trials, the Czechoslovak physician Doctor Heřman is abducted by a mysterious organization. To his horror, Heřman discovers that he is to treat Adolf Hitler, whose suicide in 1945 was faked. Hitler now lives in an isolated sanatorium in Germany, surrounded by his ostensibly loyal followers, a group of former high-ranking Nazis. But those men blame him for Germany's defeat and destruction, and have decided that a single death is not satisfactory punishment for Hitler. Rather, he is made to believe that the Second World War is still being fought. The German officers stage 'Allied raids' in which Hitler is captured, faces trial and a death sentence, put under the guillotine's blade and then is rescued by his supporters at the last moment - only to face it all again, over and over. The experience drives Hitler into an unberable mental agony; The doctor decides to put an end to his misery and kills him.
