Synopsis
Bhasu (Aryan Rajesh) gets hold of a map that holds the key to Veerappan's treasures. He gets hold of a team including a driver, a cook, a forest guide, a doctor, a land mine detector and a bomb defuser. He along with his friend, who is an insomniac (so he can guard them in the night), set out to find the treasure in the forest. Their adventurous trip goes haywire, when the killings begin. They meet suspicious characters who scare them about Veerappan, and that he is still alive. Who the murderer is and how the rest of them survive makes up the story.Acteurs

The story starts with Divakaram (Rajendra Prasad) coming late to video-shoot a marriage, where he sees Bhuvaneshwari and falls head over heels in love. He then gets a hold of Bhuvaneshwari's maternal uncle VP Jagannatham (Pradeep Shakti) and gets information about Bhuvaneshwari. He gathers that she respects only the people who are self-sufficient and straightforward. He also finds out that she is not married and is about to get transferred to Rajamundry (where he stays) soon. She works as a railway booking clerk. So Divakaram comes back to the Rajamundry and gets permission from the doctor (Shubha), who raises him as her foster child to use the front veranda in her house for his video shop. In order to secure the capital he uses all kinds of tricks. He blackmails Bhagyam (Jayalalita), cheats Chinna Rao (Mallikarjuna Rao) and claims a chit which he never was a member of, and so on. Finally starts the video shop. That's when Bhuvaneswari enters the scene. All the while Jagannatham writes him letters in her name making Divakaram assume that she is in love with him. Finally when she lands in Rajamundy he approaches for marriage. It's then that he realizes that he had been cheated by Jagannatham. Meanwhile, she finds out all of Divakaram’s mischief through the neighbours. To teach him lesson, she puts forward a deal that she would marry him only if he stays out of cheating, and does not utter a lie in a month. Divakaram goes for it.

Gautham Subramaniam (Jayam Ravi) is a doctor from an Indian family who lives in Chennai. Since his father (Nizhagal Ravi) and mother are doctors, he wanted to become a doctor. Gautham gets an opportunity from the Government of India to go to Russia to represent India in a week long medical conference, along with five other young doctors. Gautham is delighted to receive this offer and packs his bags to fly to Russia. Meanwhile, his beloved is introduced on the frame which happens to be Shenba (Kangana Ranaut). She happens to be the same village girl in which Gautham's sister Sarasu, (Anu Haasan) resides with her husband (Chetan) and so they two meet and fall in love. Despite initial frictions between her father and uncle (Mahadevan and Bose Venkat) with Gautham, they eventually agree to get the pair married. Gautham’s parents agree to the marriage and as a happy man Gautham is ready to marry Shenba after his return to India from his Russia trip.

Rajendra Prasad is a talented but very lazy tailor who believes that good fortune and luck alone will make him a rich and successful person. He is the only tailor in the whole village. Even though Subhalekaha Sudakhar, the assistant of Rajendra Prasad, and Mallikarjuna Rao, the cloth vendor, keep urging him in vain to work, he never listens to them. Sekhar (Chiranjeevi), Hari (Rajendra Prasad), Vasu (Narayana Rao) and two other friends are the unemployed youth living in a colony who are looking for jobs and are unable to make a living. Geeta (Suhasini Mani Ratnam) moves into their colony with her father and every body falls for her one trying to make a fool of each other. Devdas (Subhalekha Sudhakar) is a professional photographer. On a train he meets a melancholy woman (Bhanupriya) who boards the train without a proper ticket. Maharshi (Raghava), is a carefree college youngster from a rich family.
