Synopsis
Aloo Chaat is the story of Nikhil (Aftab Shivdasani) who returns to his Punjabi household in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi from America after completing his education. His family consists of his orthodox father Purushottam (Kulbhushan Kharbanda), his grandmother Beeji (Dolly Ahluwalia), his confused mother Seeto (Meenakshi Sethi) and an always suspicious uncle Chhadami Mama (Sanjai Mishra). Nikhil refuses to marry any girl his parents show him, which has them worried about their son's orientation. In reality, Nikhil is in love with Aamna (Aamna Sharif), a Muslim girl living in America.Acteurs

The story focuses on Steven (Sunil Shetty) and his wife Nancy (Aarti Chabria) who currently live with Steven's mother and plan to purchase their own flat soon. The film begins with the death of Steven's father. Steven organises the whole funeral by himself and the guests begin to arrive. Steven's brother Brian (Aashish Chaudhary), a renowned novelist living in Mumbai, also arrives. Everyone is expecting Brian to give the farewell speech since he is a novelist, however he has nothing planned, and he is intending on Steven to do the speech. Every time Steven tries to start his speech someone always interrupts and the speech is delayed. A short man named Andrew (Rajpal Yadav) introduces himself to Steven and asks to speak to him in private. Andrew tells him that he was Steven's father's boyfriend and the two were gay together. Surprised, Steven tells Brian this. Andrew blackmails them and demands money to keep this a secret. By this time, Steven's crazy family arrive. This film is the story of one mad and hilarious day at a funeral and how things get from normal to mayhem in just a few hours.

Mahaul Theek Hai (meaning 'the situation is okay') is a record setting Punjabi film. It is a comedy satire about the police force in India. The plot is a story where boy (Smeep Kang) meets girl (Chandni Toor). The hero's brother Raj Babbar, is involved with an illegal businessman. The heroine's father Kulbhushan Kharbanda is cheated of land by his own brother. Played by director and satirist Jaspal Bhatti, the villain of the film is a corrupt SSP (police superintendent) who misuses his authority to threaten people and hide his own excesses. His love interest is played by Bhatti's real life wife (Savita Bhatti). Shot mainly in the northern India city of Chandigarh, the story uses a simple plotline to create its comedy. Every situation which should seem serious is filled with the incessant jokes and humour which are Bhatti's trademark.

Mr. Raj K. Saxena (Kader Khan) is known for his parsimony. Everything he does and thinks is valued with money, and ways he can accumulate it. His daughter, Kiran (Ameesha Patel), is the opposite, a spendthrift. Mr. Saxena borrows money from elderly people, assuring them of returning the loan with a handsome rate of interest after about 20 years, knowing fully well that none of them will survive 20 years. Then he meets with the son of one of such lender, aptly named after him viz. Raj K. Saxena (Aftab). Mr. Saxena refuses to repay the amount, swallows the proof, the only evidence, and asks Raj to get out, which he does so. Raj is determined to get his money, and wants Kiran to fall in love with him. Kiran does so, and brings him over to introduce him to her shocked and speechless dad. Things change when Raj inherits a large amount of money, ironically left by Mr. Saxena maternal grandmother, and it is Mr. Saxena who is now anxious to get in the good books of Raj, with hilarious results.

Cette nouvelle tombe à point pour Khushi qui n’a plus de toit ; elle décide donc de partir à la recherche de la maison inhabitée et d’y établir refuge ! Pour tout indice, elle a une serviette en papier sur laquelle Ranbir a dessiné la maison en question.
