Aa Jaa Sanam is a 1975 Bollywood film directed by Yusuf Naqvi. The film stars Feroz Khan, Tanuja and Deven Verma. The films music is by Usha Khanna and the lyrcis by Indeevar.

Synopsis

Dr. Satish travels from the big city to a small village, where he can serve the poor who cannot afford to go to the city for medical treatment. Once in the village, he meets with Shanti, who lives with her dad, Radhekiran, a watchman. Both Shanti and Satish fall in love, and exchange vows to be married. Radhekiran has an accident, and dies, leaving Shanti to re-locate, without notifying Satish. Satish is devastated at losing Shanti, and tries to locate her, to no avail. His parents want him to marry Kamini, and he agrees to do so. It is then he comes across Shanti, and he is shocked to see that Shanti has given birth to baby-boy, but will not disclose who the father is.

Three Derveshes are praying at a shrine, each has a wish to fulfil but that can’t happen till a fourth one arrives. A white horse appears with a rider, and it is the fourth Dervesh who is seeking to reedeem himself. His name is Qamar (Feroz Khan). Qamar has been a care-free person getting into trouble for his innocent misdeeds and basically a source of worry for his two covetous brothers. He sees the beautiful princess Nargis Bano (Sayeeda Khan) and falls in love with her. However he’s caught by the palace guards and whipped and sent to exile. His brothers throw him off the ship they are travelling in and he lands in an underwater sea kingdom. He sees a Woman turned to stone up to her neck. There is another princess, Hamida, imprisoned there by an evil magician. The stone woman turns out to be the mother of the two princesses and she wants Qamar to marry the imprisoned princess. However, Qamar fails to fulfill her demand and in turn, the stone-lady (Ratnamala) angry and she turns Qamar's skin black and thus, he meets the other three derveshes. After the stone-lady comes to know of the actual facts, she forgives him and the problem with the skin gets better. He’s now in a dilemma as he has to decide which princess to marry. Several action and chase scenes follow with sword fighting and flying on magic carpets to rescue the princess and finally marry the one he loves.

The movie "Bachpan" is about three friends, Ram (Master Sachin), Rahim (Mahboob Master) and Tom (Master Alankar). Ram is an orphan who lives with his aunt; Rahim lives with his father and horse (badshah); Tom lives with his father (Keshto Mukherjee) and mother very unhappilly, They love the toyseller Kashi (Sanjeev Kumar) and the flower seller lady Lajjo (Tanuja). Kashi lost his wife and children in an accident and spends his life with their memory. The story takes a turn when the smuggler Nekichand kills his side-kick and innocent Kashi was arrested for the murder. But those three kids were present there. As Kashi was drunk at the time of the murder he cannot recall anything, so he never tries to defend himself. Those three kids try to free their dear Kashi Chacha. Tom's father John fights his case and Ram gives witness in his favour. His witness and the evidences helps in releasing innocent Kashi. Ram's aunt also comes to the court and admits that Nekichand is the killer of Ram's father and she was trying to guard him as he is her brother. When Ram comes to know that Nekichand is his father's killer, he wants to take revenge. Ultimately Nekichand was arrested by the police with the initiative of Ram and Kashi. At the end, Kashi realises that the life should go on, and one cannot spend his entire life in the memory of the dead. Hence, he decides to marry Lajjo, who silently loved him from the very beginning.

Dr Sudhir (Feroz Khan) returns from UK after his father's death to take care of family business. To decorate an empty section of a room, Sudhir buys an old Piano from a local shop. Weird things start happening after he buys the Piano. He meets a mysterious woman Maria (Tanuja) who tells him that while he can play Piano as he is the new owner, he should not let others play it. The first person to play the piano against her advice dies as soon as she has finished playing. Soon a long time house-servant dies and Dr Sudhir is a suspect. Complicating the situation is a local businessman Shankarlal (Madan Puri) who is planting false evidence to implicate Sudhir. Sudhir's assistant Rocky suspects Shankarlal is trying to set him up, so he concocts a plan with the Police to catch him red handed. Sudhir's friend and his wife visit him and they record Maria's song and they are shocked to see that the voice wasn't recorded. Sudhir visits Maria's house and while returning he is attacked by Maria's father (Jeevan). When he regains consciousness he is at his home and his friends tell him he was in a car accident. He goes back to the spot to retrieve his car where Shankarlal and his secretary Rosy (Aruna Irani) plan to ambush and kill him. Sudhir follows Rosy who is dressed as Maria. However Rocky reaches in time with the Police and gets Rosy arrested . As she confesses the plot, Shankarlal kills her and flees . He is captured by the police with the help of Sudheer. Sudheer friend was listening to a record that he bought from the same shop where Sudheer bought the Piano. The voice is that of Maria and his friend claims this is a 20-year-old recording and Maria cannot be a young woman. Sudhir rushes to the music shop to find the owner dead. He goes to Maria's church where he finds out Maria has been dead for 20 years and her spirit has been haunting the graveyard. She committed suicide because her father sold her favorite Piano in exchange of 1 month of free alcohol. Sudhir runs after Maria's spirit and falls from a mountain. He dies and his spirit is united with Maria.

Amirchand (Prem Chopra) is a successful businessman and lives a single parent life with his two daughters Harsha (Baby Pinky) and Varsha (Reena Roy). He has his family roots in his paternal village, where he goes to meet his parents (Kanhaiyya Lal and Leela Mishra) once in a blue moon. On one such vacation, Amrichand is stopped at the village outskirts by some villagers, who ask him to pay respect to a local peepal tree, which is considered to be holy. Pooja (Shabana Azmi), who grew up as an orphan girl and always dreamt of owning a house, becomes insecure when she finds out that she and her husband, Inder (Kulbhushan Kharbanda), have to leave the apartment they rent. The twist that occurred when Inder gives her the keys of a new house proves to be double-edged, when it is revealed that he is in love with another woman, Kavita (Smita Patil), with whom he earned the money (in the film industry) for the new apartment. While previously giving advice to her maid (Rohini Hattangadi) cheated by her husband, now Pooja becomes herself involved in a similar situation. When Inder deserts Pooja for Kavita, she chooses to leave the apartment for a women's hostel with only 7px2000 that she had when she got married. She is helped by Raj (Raj Kiran) to surpass the difficulties of life as a single person, to find a job and to rely morally on herself. Raj and Pooja become good friends. Gradually, Kavita's mental instability deepens her fears of insecurity, even after Inder requests Pooja to sign the divorce papers.
