Synopsis

Jule, étudiante en biologie, et Jan, étudiant en sciences politiques, tous deux 24 ans, se côtoient lors d'un voyage de Berlin vers la péninsule ibérique, à bord d'un van 303. Lentement, ils vont tomber amoureux l'un de l'autre.

Eshaet Hob starts with the introduction of a wealthy business man, Abdel Qader El Nashashgi (Youssef Wahby), and his eccentric family – his outspoken wife, Bahiga (Ehsan Elsherif), his two nephews, Hussein (Omar Sharif) and Mahroos (Abdel-Menam Ibrahim), and his beautiful daughter, Samiha (Soad Hosny). Hussein, a lowly writer turned-manager in his uncle’s firm, is desperately in love with Samiha who in turn is infatuated with multilingual playboy, Luci (Gamal Ramses). Seeing as she is of marrying age, her parents plan to marry her off. Her father wants to set her up with Hussein, who is an upstanding gentleman with a promising future. On the other hand, her mother encourages her to become engaged to Luci. The difference in opinion leads to a dispute that prompts Samiha’s father to concoct a seduction plan with which Hussein would woo Samiha.

Sethu, an orphan is a patient who is constantly playing pranks on the other hospital patients, the nurse in-charge and the doctors. A romantic bond develops between a young doctor, Indra and another patient, a football player, Arun much to the chagrin of her father, the senior most doctor in the hospital. The football player has a greedy brother who tries to arrange for his sibling to be killed. Patricia "Patsy" Harrington est un peu timide face à sa mère et à sa sœur aînée Grace. Elle tente d'attirer l'attention d'un des prétendants de Grace, Tony Anderson. Suivant les conseils de Tony, elle lit un livre sur le développement de la personnalité. Pour montrer sa "personnalité" à Tony, elle fait des imitations de Pola Negri, Mae Murray ou Lillian Gish. Comme il reste indifférent, elle fait une fausse fugue avec un jeune homme pour rendre Tony jaloux, mais cela n'a pour conséquence que la colère de toute sa famille. Finalement, son père sortira de son apathie pour s'affirmer comme le vrai maître de maison, Patsy sera aimée de Tony et Grace portera son attention sur quelqu'un d'autre.
