À la suite du décès de sa sœur et de son beau-frère, Rahul Malhotra (Aamir Khan) prend la direction de l'entreprise familiale et a également la charge de ses deux neveux et de sa nièce : Sunny (Kunal Khemu), Munni (Baby Ashrafa) et Vicky (Sharokh Irani). Mais Rahul se heurte d'une part aux multiples dettes de l'entreprise et d'autre part au comportement infernal des trois enfants qui épuisent les nounous les unes après les autres. Une nuit, les enfants s'échappent pour aller à la fête foraine où ils rencontrent Vaiyjanti (Juhi Chawla). Celle-ci s'est échappée de chez elle car elle refuse de se marier avec l'homme que ses parents lui ont choisi. N'ayant nul endroit où dormir, les trois enfants la ramènent à leur maison et décident de cacher son existence à leur oncle. Or, un jour Rahul découvre leur secret. Remis de sa surprise, il engage Vaiyjanti comme baby-sitter. Tout le monde découvre la vie à cinq, les enfants s'entendent à merveille avec Vaiyjanti et cette dernière et Rahul tombent amoureux. Mais Maya (Navneet Nishan), fille de M. Bijlani (Dalip Tahil) envers lequel la société de Rahul est endettée, aime également Rahul et demande à son père de tout mettre en œuvre pour qu'il l'épouse.

Two guys called Gouranga (Ritwick Chakraborty) and Gobindo (Jisshu Sengupta) meet in a nightclub and strike up a friendship and their cell phones get exchanged . When Gobinda comes to return the phone to Gouranga, he discovers that Gouranga has a cousin called Banya (Payel Sarkar) who is obsessed with Salman Khan and with the name called Prem and desires a boyfriend called Prem. Just when he reveals facts like Gobindo being an adopted son, it turns out to be much more than that and finally it is seen that Gobindo and Gouranga are brothers and so Banya is their cousin and therefore Gobindo can’t be with Banya anymore.

The film starts with an accident. Then it shifts back several months before when Joyita (Payal Sarkar), a girl from the village of Balurghat comes to Kolkata to give an interview for her work. But her sister who was supposed to guide her could not come due to the stroke of her father-in-law. Set in Mumbai, the film starts with Raj (Paresh Rawal), a good-for-nothing movie director who has released certain films, but none of them ever do well at the box office. He gets threatened by his landlords that if he does not pay them on time, he will be homeless. While chartered accountant Anand (Kunal Khemu) tries to cheer up his girlfriend Neha (Soha Ali Khan) on her birthday.
