Vijayakanth (Vijayakanth), an honest C.I.D inspector, is married to Seetha (Seetha) and they have a daughter Shamili (Shamili). Vijayakanth has enough evidences to arrest the dangerous criminal Tiger (Charan Raj). Vijayakanth befriends Rekha, a C.I.D inspector, without knowing that she is Seetha's friend. Seetha compels Rekha to live with them. Seetha has the blood cancer but she hides to her husband. When her husband and her friend know this news, they decide to go in U.S.A for the treatment but Tiger manages to kill Seetha and erases the proofs. Vijayakanth is now more determined to catch Tiger.

The story begins with a young couple, Balu and Ishwarya, being chased by some goons. Ishwarya is the daughter of Rajadorai (Charan Raj) and had eloped and run away with her boyfriend Balu against the wishes of Rajadorai. Rajadorai sends his goons to track down the couple. When the goons finally track down the couple in a forest and start beating up Balu, a man (Rajinikanth) comes to the couple's rescue. When Rajadorai and his brother Ramadorai (Nizhalgal Ravi) find out about this man, they rush over to his hideout in the forest, only to escape in fear when they see him. The couple is scared and puzzled as to how the man could induce so much fear in the brothers. The man's wife Parvathi (Gouthami) then tells the couple the story of the man, whose name is Dharmadorai.

Kicha (Arjun) est une personne respectée dans sa communauté locale. Mais Kicha (Arjun), est un célèbre voleur. Il est accompagné de son ami Mani (Goundamani) . Il a volé des millions de roupies et de nombreuses victimes. Madhoo (Madhubala), une fille simple brahmin est amoureux de Kicha. Charan Raj est un officier de police qui prend en charge pour attraper ce dernier. Mais encore Kicha (Arjun) échappe à nouveau. Plus tard Charan Raj est marié à la cousine de Madhoo (Madhubala), ce qui conduit à travailler en étroite collaboration dans l'identification de Kichaa (Arjun). Mais kichaa (Arjun) échappe toujours avec l'aide de son ami Mani (Goundamani). Kichaa (Arjun) fait un dernier vol comme prévu et après avoir fait Charan Raj l’arrête. Avec l’argent qu’il a volé, il a construit un collège et des écoles pour les enfants pauvres. Dans la salle d'audience, il révèle les raisons... qui a commencé avec une tragédie de sa famille qui a entraîné la mort de sa mère (Manorama) et de son meilleur ami Ramesh (Vineeth).
