Synopsis
Dr. Sameer (Navin Nischal) has just landed to his native place Chandan Nagar after finishing his medical studies in Russia. He is assisted by Dr. Bakshi (Rajindernath), a vet by profession but looks a close relative of a roadside juggler. Sameer is welcomed by his family and is greeted by his childhood crush Kiran (Sarika), with whom he soon gets romantically entangled.Acteurs

Seth Dharamdas has two daughters: the older one is Asha(Vidya Sinha) and the younger one is Kaajal(Kaajal Kiran). Dharamdas had struck a business deal with Dhanraj. A wealthy businessman Girdhari Lal is murdered by his cousin Dhanpat Rai (Bharat Kapoor) for the sake of wealth. Girdhari Lal's daughter Sapna (Sarika) is in love with Vinod (Deepak Parashar). Dhanpat Rai despises Sapna's relationship with Vinod and shifts her to a hostel. However the two decide to go straight with Dhanpat Rai and head to his grand manor. Soon the lovers find Dhanpat Rai dead and stuffed in a suitcase. Sapna and Vinod pair up with Police to speed up the investigation. Meanwhile the other members in the manor are being brutally killed by a burnt-face assailant, who has plans of his own.

The film opens up with a distraught tensed up Ranjit watching his mother and his sister and their adopted brother closely. He is wearing a depressing look as he cannot earn and feed his family members properly being a handicapped person. He walks with help of walking stick. He decides that its better to commit suicide and die rather than giving trouble to others and also seeing his family members struggle for survival. His mother loves him a lot although he is limping and jobless. She asks him not to worry and be happy. Their landlord has asked them to vacate the premises the next day. Tension looming around his mind, Ranjit decides to go out early in the morning and jump from the bridge above the railway tracks and give away his life. Ranjit carries out his plan. In the next scenes, he starts walking without help from any stick. He meets a man who calls himself as Captain and he says that he is the only person who can see Ranjith right now. That fat man introduces himself as Swaraj Singh Captain and says that he is a ghost and that Ranjit has died and is now a ghost too. Captain takes him along everywhere and shows him how many other people are roaming as ghosts in the world after committing suicides. Captain says the ghosts attain salvation only when their unfulfilled wish gets fulfilled. Captain asks him why did he commit suicide. Ranjit tells him his story of how he was a badminton player and how rich they were. He had even fell in love with a richer girl. The rest of the story is about Ranjit's description of what drove him to poverty, how were they surviving, how his friends betrayed him and deprived him of any job, how he lost his leg and how much he feels betrayed of his girlfriend leaving him and joining hands with some one else. Captain just keeps listening to his story. The answers to the above question and rest of the story is full of suspense which needs to be seen in the movie directly.

Anand (Rajesh Khanna) is a successful businessman with a dark side. He preys on nubile girls and rapes and kills them. These proceedings are video-recorded and watched by his adoptive father and mentor, another deranged woman-hater who, as with Anand, had a disillusioning experience with the female sex in his past. The old man stays holed up in a far corner of Aanand's mansion watching his son carry out what he is too infirm to do. The murdered girls are buried in Anand's garden and a rosebush is grown above.

The film begins with Mahendru (Balraj Sahni), a widowed police officer and his young daughter, Chanda. Chanda's best friend is Rekha (Suman Sikand), the daughter of a prostitute. Rekha stays over at Chanda's house, when Rekha's mother accidentally kills someone in an effort to stop her pimp (Jeevan) from carrying off Rekha into prostitution as well. She is sent to prison, and begs Mahendru not to reveal to Rekha anything about her life as a working girl. Mahendru promises to protect and raise the child as his own daughter. The pimp, Jeevan, attempts to kidnap Rekha but his goons mistakenly kidnap Chanda. When he realizes the error he decides to make the best of a bad situation by asking Mahendru for a large ransom. Mahendru borrows the ransom money from a friend, but the pimp deceives him and delivers the girl to a madam (Nadira).
