It stars Mohanlal in the lead roles while Kaniha, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Madhu, Lena Abhilash, Nandu, Kalpana and Thilakan play notable supporting roles. The film released on 14 June to overwhelming positive critical reviews. It completed hundred days of theatrical run in Kerala which was a Super-Hit at the box office.
According to the director, "The movie does not, in any way, advocate or proscribe alcohol. Spirit discusses the subject and examines what happens when a person, however intelligent, falls prey to an addiction, any addiction for that matter."
Synopsis
Raghunandan is an ex-Bank of England employee who resigned his lucrative job because he was bored with the rather sedentary and mundane nature of his work. Having lived in different parts of the world as a bank employee, he chose journalism as his next career and worked in different cities in India. He now works for a TV news channel as an interviewer in a popular show named "Show the Spirit". In the mean time, he is in the process of writing an English novel too. He is essentially a loner but is a compulsive alcoholic and has an expensive collection of vintage drinks at home.Acteurs

The story begins with the fall of Mangalasherry Neelakantan's (Mohanlal) son Karthikeyan (Mohanlal), as he ventures out to make money which ultimately makes him a liquor baron. The relationship between Neelakantan and Karthikeyan deteriorates, as the father does not approve of his son's money-making methods. Mundakkal Shekharan (Napoleon) comes into the picture again after spending a term in prison for killing one of Neelakantan's friends. He decides to finish the Mangalasherry family by confiscating the house which was kept as collateral for Bhanumathi's (Revathy) treatment. Bhanumathi passes away and Karthikeyan is now bent on taking revenge. Neelakantan loses his home and Karthikeyan ventures out in an attempt to reclaim his ancestral home. In the meantime, Karthikeyan abducts Shekharan's daughter Janaki (Vasundhara Das) in an attempt to blackmail him (Shekharan), during which they fall in love with each other. The remainder of the movie is about how Karthikeyan manages to get his ancestral home back while Shekharan's nephew Mundakkal Rajendran (Vijayaraghavan) makes attempts to kill Karthikeyan, but instead neelakandan gets killed and karthikeyan ventures out to kill Mundackal shekharan.

A casket containing the body of deceased construction worker, Rafeeq (Musthafa), is flown from Dubai to the Calicut International Airport in Kozhikode, then transported by ambulance to its destination. While en route, the ambulance is ambushed by criminals hired by Muhammed Unni (Siddique) to retrieve the 100 kilograms (220 lb) of gold that he and his co-smugglers have hidden in the casket. Après cinq ans d'emprisonnement dans un établissement pénitentiaire de Marseille, Corey (Alain Delon) est sur le point d'être libéré. Rock N' Roll tells the story of Chandramouli (Mohanlal), a composer and drummer, of his return to Chennai from South Africa for a brief visit, and of the incidents happening in that short span. Gunasekharan (Siddique), a leading music composer, is busy with his composition for the latest film directed by Lal Jose. He feels, it would be better, if he gets the help of his old friend Chandramouli, who is now busy with his international concerts. But Mouli, a fun loving and jovial musician, makes a surprise landing in Chennai and helps Guna in his work. Mouli accidentally falls in love with Daya Sreenivasan (Lakshmi Rai), the female playback singer, who is also an ardent fan of Mouli. But because of the compulsions from her parents and fiancé, Vivek (Anoop Menon), she moves back to Mumbai. Mouli plots a plan with his friend Thabala Balu (Harisree Ashokan) to bring her back to Chennai. He makes Daya believe that he is now composing a dozen songs for a film and wants Daya to sing it. Daya, who comes back to Chennai, is not impressed by Mouli's tunes. When she openly expresses her unhappiness over the tune, Mouli takes it as a prestige issue and composes a song entirely dedicated to her. However, Daya is unable to attend the studio on that particular date as she is getting married to Vivek, whom she feels is too arrogant and sophisticated for her. Mouli enters the marriage venue and takes Daya to the studio for 30 minutes despite the opposition from her family members. Daya, who within time is fully in love with Mouli, realizes his love for her and opens her mind to him. The film ends with Mouli relaxing at a beach with Daya, but his old habits of carefree nature and passion for girls still not gone.

Gavin Banek, un avocat brillant de New York City, est pressé de déposer une procuration, qui permettra de prouver qu'un homme décédé a bien signé le transfert de sa fondation en faveur de l'étude d'avocats où Banek travaille. Banek tente de s'arranger avec Gipson en lui remettant un chèque en blanc, désobéissant ainsi à la loi. Comme Doyle refuse d'accepter le chèque et exprime sa volonté de « faire comme il faut », c'est-à-dire faire le constat, Gavin le quitte en lui disant : « Bonne chance pour la prochaine fois ! ». Alors qu'il arrive en retard au tribunal, Gipson apprend que l'audience a eu lieu en son absence et que les choses ne se sont pas déroulées en sa faveur.
