The film stars himself in the lead role with debutant Sulagna, while Surya also composes the film's music score. This film, which is touted to be of a new genre musical-thriller, went on the floors from 25 May 2012. The audio launch was on November 16, 2014. The film opened with positive reviews from critics and was a commercial success at the box office.
Synopsis
Vetriselvan (Sathyaraj) is an established and an old fashioned music director in the industry. He is loved and respected for his works and is termed as the greatest musician of our times. A. K. Shiva (S. J. Surya) who works as an assistant under Vetriselvan gets an opportunity to compose music for a small time film. When he seeks permission from Vetriselvan to go ahead with his first venture as a music director, Vetriselvan doesn't oppose the idea as he wouldn't have imagined even in his wildest dream that one day A. K. Shiva would surpass him in the musical world.Acteurs

Pappu an eight-year-old boy who is very mischievous always troubling his mother. His mother scolds him when he eats the toothpaste, urinate in bed at night. Pappu falls down on a road one day and a young woman helps him. Pappu's elder brother plans to watch adults movie with his friends in the absence of their parents and Pappu wishes to join him to which his brother does not allow him. Angered, Paapu cuts off the power which creates a short circuit at home. Pappu's mother scolds for his dangerous mischief and shouts at her husband for not stopping with one child as Pappu is troubling her a lot. This hurts Pappu and he runs away from home to jump into a river. But he is stopped by an old man and he takes Pappu to his place. The old man introduces himself as a scientist who has his own laboratory. He insists Pappu to help him in his research of transforming a child to a young man. Pappu agrees and the scientist transforms him to a young man. Pappu starts to live as a young man physically but as a child mentally and stays away from his family. The only person other than scientist who knows the truth is his child classmate friend. Pappu meets the girl at a park who helped him once he fell down on road. Innocent child Pappu helps to remove dust from her eyes, smiles at her and leaves the place. The girl is very much attracted towards him and she looks for him every day.

A handicapped Krishna (Suriya) arrives at Mumbai. He, along with a taxi driver (Soori) travel along Mumbai to look for his brother. He then meets a close friend of Raju and tells Krishna that Raju is Raju Bhai (Suriya). He then meets JK and he tells his experience with Raju Bhai and tells him that Raju could have killed him but spared JK. Krishna finally meets Karim Bhai (Joe Malloori) and he tells Krishna that Raju and Chandru (Vidyut Jamwal) were inseparable friends and were growing dons as they emerging in the underworld their enemies too grows. Then a new Commissioner plans to clean the city and kills a few people of Raju's gang. Raju then retaliates this by kidnapping the Commissioner's daughter Jeeva (Samantha) and keeps her as a hostage for a day and when Raju goes to leave her back she tells that she actually doesn't want to go and doesn't want to marry because she didn't love anyone. Both of them then develop love. Things go well until Raju and Chandru invoke the wrath of Imran Bhai (Manoj Bajpai) who is a bigger and more powerful don than them and Chandru keeps chanting what Imran says to him that Imran would 'shoot them like pigs'. Raju then gives Chandru a surprise by capturing Imran. Chandru becomes thrilled about it and gives Raju a surprise by getting him a new car. Raju then meets Jeeva inside. Chandru tells him that he had given Raju a surprise and tells him to stay away for seven days with Jeeva. Raju and Jeeva have a blast. When Raju comes back he sees Chandru murdered in a ghastly manner. A frustrated Raju goes in search of the killers is also shot by his own man, Amar. Krishna then becomes worried. At that very time Amar gets to know that Krishna was looking for him and tries to kill Krishna. Then it is revealed that Krishna is Raju. Raju then fights them and kills Amar. He then goes to find Jackie in a horse race. Jackie tells him to ask Johny. Raju then finds Johny in a shopping mall and Johny tells him that they along with Imran had plotted to kill Chandru when Raju was away. A disappointed Raju kills Johny. Raju then kills one more betrayer in a fight and shoots him. Then Imran's men kidnap Karim Bhai's daughter. When Raju gets there Karim tells him it wasn't his daughter, it was Jeeva. Raju finally battles them and at last kills Imran Bhai. Raju, after rescuing Jeeva, reunites with her and happily leave Mumbai.

Shekhar (Arvind Swamy) est le fils de parents hindous traditionnels dans un village côtier du Tamil Nadu. Suivent plusieurs semaines de relation épistolaire entre Shekhar et Shaila qui finit par s'enfuir de la maison pour rejoindre Shekhar à Bombay où ils se marient en hâte.
