Rajendra Nath (1931 - 13 février 2008) est un acteur comique indien, interprète de films en langue hindi. Sa famille est originaire de Peshawar mais s'est installée à Jabalpur au Madhya Pradesh. Il étudie au Darbar College à Rewa, où Arjun Singh et R.P. Agarwal sont ses professeurs.
Le frère de Rajendra Nath, Prem Nath va à Mumbai et devient acteur : Rajendra le rejoint alors. Ils deviennent amis de Raj Kapoor et Shammi Kapoor.
Au début, Rajendra Nath se bat surtout pour avoir des rôles de comédien comme lui propose Sashadhar Mukherjee dans Dil Deke Dekho, réalisé par Nasir Hussain avec en vedette Shammi Kapoor et Asha Parekh. Il devient un régulier des films de Nasir Hussain comme Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon, Teesri Manzil, Baharon Ke Sapne, Pyar Ka Mausam.

This film is a simple story of a village boy, Baadal (Joy Mukherjee) who meets a girl from the city, Preeti (Waheeda Rehman) in the most unusual circumstances and the couple eventually fall in love, and wish to get married only to find Preeti’s scheming father, played by Rehman and her fiancé, Roshan try all methods to separate the couple. There’s a lot of drama, jealousy, and a challenge that ensues, but Baadal ends up triumphant through it all. The most fun element was Kishore Kumar‘s character, Ganpat Rao who effortlessly makes you smile from the time he enters the scene. Then there’s the moment of unity for actor brothers, Ashok Kumar and Kishore Kumar which was heartwarming for more reasons than just their screen presence together.

Pretty collegian Megha has three admirers. The first one is Akash, who is in love with her and will do anything for her; Vinod, who is also in love with her, and wants to possess and marry her at any cost; and finally Prakash who admires her secretly, and will do anything to please and protect her. The Afghan kingdom of "Baharistan" is ruled by a just and kind Sultan Ali Rizwan Mohhamad Dokeer Khan (Shammi Kapoor). All is well in the land except that the Sultan seemingly can't have children. An evil devil-worshipping Vazir (Amrish Puri) seeks to usurp the throne, revive his "fauladi shaitan" (a huge demon-like figure made of stone), and take over the world. The Vazir instructs his maids to strangle every child born to the Sultan. Finally, however, a spark of divine intervention (presented literally as a spark which descends from the heavens and enters the womb) renders the next newborn son immune to the poisons and strangulations administered by the maids. This Shehezada (prince) eventually becomes Ajooba (miracle).

Gayetri lives with two close male friends, who she considers her brothers by the names of Veeru (Dharmendra) and Dheeru (Vinod Khanna), who are small-time thieves, and con men, and are known to the local police.
