A Varese, il lance avec son frère Fabio un groupe musical, I Mimitoki, où il commence sa carrière à la batterie. En 1968 il commence à jouer au Derby Club .
Dans les années 1970, il gère un cabaret à Milan ; c'est là qu'il rencontre Maria Teresa Selo, de Naples, qu'il épouse en 1973.
Son épouse meurt le 28 avril 2004, après plus de dix années de maladie incurable. Ils ont eu trois filles, et sont devenus grands-parents en 2001.
Son épouse était une cousine du pilote Michele Alboreto, mort le 25 avril 2001 lors d'essais sur le circuit de Lausitzring.

Biographie
Massimo Boldi naît à Luino, dans la province de Varèse, le 23 juillet 1945. En 1956 sa famille déménage à Milan. Il s'inscrit aux cours du soir et commence à travailler dans les vitrines avant de faire de la vente porte à porte pour une maison de pâtisserie, La Motta.A Varese, il lance avec son frère Fabio un groupe musical, I Mimitoki, où il commence sa carrière à la batterie. En 1968 il commence à jouer au Derby Club .

Trois couples se font et se défont pendant des vacances de Noël à Gstaad. Fabrizio Barbetti et Lisa Pinzoni, divorcés qui veulent se remarier entre eux mais non sans se préoccuper du sort de leurs actuels conjoints, lesquels étaient en fait les instigateurs de la rencontre. Guido Baldi veut vivre une aventure avec une jeune femme de l'âge de sa fille, mais retrouve justement sa fille dans les lieux, au bras d'un vieux beau. Concetta La Rosa est amoureuse de l'acteur Ronn Moss de la série Amour, Gloire et Beauté, et gagne un week-end de rêve avec lui : alors qu'il se prête moyennement aux soupirs amoureux de son adoratrice, ce dernier perd la mémoire... The Roman lawyer Fabio Ciulla goes on holiday to Egypt. He is pursuing his wife, whom he has repeatedly betrayed, in an attempt to persuade her to forgive him. In 71 BC in Rome, utter disorder reigns in the form of political corruption and bribery involving the senator Cynic (Leslie Nielsen).
